I wanted an inexpensive black only laser printer. This unit fit the bill perfectly.

I just needed a basic B&W printer and have been amazed at how many just don't work or break immediately. This one connected the first time and has been working fine. At last!

Product had a piece inside it to break rendering it useless to print. It was well within the year of purchase. Contacted the seller on Amazon and they were worthless. Said to contact HP, HP said it was out of warranty. so I'm out the money and have a printer that won't print. I definitely will not give a good rating to the seller of this printer.

I called HP about my M102w because it was suddenly printing little blocks, 4 or 5, up through the page. I tried three different cartridges, and the problem was not the cartridges. They are about $80, so that is not cheap. The tech scanned my printer and said I printed over 11,000 pages, the printer was out of warranty, and some little thing was broken inside. Really? It could print everything else on the page! I had bought a second M102w during the pandemic so I would have a backup if this one died. It is fine, on day one. I wonder if it will also have little blocks in the future, right after the warranty is up.

Bought this as a replacement for an earlier version of the same. The old printer is no longer compatible with the new op systems. Anyway all is well but when you run out of paper and the printer driver goes into error mode, you can forget getting it working by going thru the normal resets. Unplugging the printer and waiting the requisite amount of time doesn't work either. Called HP support and was told to uninstall the printer and reinstall by going thru the preferences. BTW I am using a Macbook Pro 2019 version and Big Sur. It may be a Big Sur Op system problem but who knows. anyway, DO NOT let your printer run out of paper or you may regret it.

So, we had very specific requirements for our printer. We needed one that would work wirelessly without home WiFi, because we're in a remote area where we can't get internet. We also wanted a printer that was actually capable of printing on one side of the paper (yes, in theory, other brands make this a selectable option, but in practice it turned out to be two sided or nothing, and I'm not dealing with that problem again). This one sided printer seemed to be one of the few printers that fit the bill.My husband has a Mac and I have a newish PC and an oldish (Windows 7) PC. We each had to use a hotspot to download the printer driver from the web (I'm not sure what's actually on the CD, but it didn't do anything by itself). In the case of the Windows 7 computer, it took literally hours to download the drivers over the hot spot -- really aggravating. Once we did that, we were initially able to print on all the computers using the cable. However, my Windows 10 computer now no longer sees the printer, even when hooked up with the cable. I have deleted the printer and reloaded the driver (again, hours over a hot spot), but the installation instructions take us in circles, failing repeatedly. I have texted and called HP support, and they are no help at all, basically telling me to do the things I have already tried..I can print *some* files wirelessly from my iPhone, but only if I use the hateful HP Smart app and first transfer the file I want to print into the HP Smart app folder. Unfortunately, not every app (e.g., airline boarding passes) plays nicely with the HP Smart app. I cannot print anything from other sources -- most annoyingly, I can't print emails. Tech support confirmed that printing emails isn't possible. At this point I hate this printer with every fiber of my being.

Cette imprimante n'est pas une laser couleur, mais une laser monochrome.C'est une honte de trouver un tel objet sur amazone, qui plus est en prime !

I followed the setup instructions that came in the box. Used the on-line method. My router is set to not broadcast the SSID so I had to enter it and the password manually. I had no problems. Once installed, my other computers and cellphones could find it with no problem. I did have to install the applicable drivers on each device. I am 100% satisfied.

I upgraded my previous 10-year-old HP laserjet to this one, even though some of the reviews tried to sway me away from it. I'm glad I purchased it though, it prints fast and setup was a breeze.I mean, what else do you want from a laserjet printer? I had no lofty expectations of surprise highlights of colour in my otherwise dreary printing needs. There is no splash of blue added to pages to brighten my day. Alexa is much more polite in conversations, as my HP just flat-out ignores me. Even if it did answer, I have the very distinct feeling that it wouldn't know the time, weather, or how exactly to order me another box of cookies. No, but I forgive all that. Because when it's time to print something, it gets it's job done.

I've used the forerunner of this printer for about 20 years. Suddenly, on a new Windows 10, it wouldn't work--so I ordered the newer version. Love it. Hooked up wirelessly without any trouble. Didn't think I'd like the white, but my new hp ended up being white as well. You can't beat the quality for the price. I couldn't tell from the description if a laser cartridge was included, but one was. Smaller size, but kept me from going right out to get ink.

This is a good printer. Got it on sale and I haven't had any issues yet. It's surprisingly small. I wish it had a duplex feature but for the price of $50, I can't complain. One design flaw is that when printing a larger document, the pages don't stay in a nice stack and if you are not near the printer, after about page 7 they start sliding right off the printer onto the ground. My dog love this feature though as it gives him a job of delivering different pages of my document to different people around the house. Cannot speak to how long the toner will last, but the printer seems to tell me it has 1000 pages left (on the initial toner)
