I had a lot of troubles trying to set up this printer. Contacted HP and this printer was OUT of warranty. Unacceptable on all levels! Do NOT buy from this Seller. He/She should be banned from selling on Amazon.

This isn't a printer as you imagine one, it's a funnel that will require years of payments to HP to buy one of the world's most overpriced substances. It requires jumping through many hoops to set it up, and if you (God forbid) attempt to use any less expensive ink than HP's own grossly-overpriced brand, your printer service will be rendered inoperable.I've literally tossed more HP printers in the trash bin than I care to admit but after time has passed, you tend to underestimate the headache and focus on the reasonable price of the hardware. Don't do that. Look elsewhere. This plastic monstrosity would be a big mistake.

We have been looking for a Printer Scanner combo that actually scans front and back. This one was our answer! I haven't heard any complaints for anyone here at work, it was extremely easy to setup and I like that the HP Smart App just makes the setup process quick and easy. I believe this might be a model no longer in production but if you find it for sale, snag it!

I would not buy this HP MFP printer again.I am not impressed from the quality or the printing speed, nor from the cost expensive toner it uses.Unlike the old models you must register the printer with HP, and get activation code for the driver for every computer that need to print to it (process that take 20min or more).you have to create user name and password, and provide your e-mail for HP to send the activation code, for the driver to work.

I do not print a great deal, because most of my communications and purchases are online. I primarily needed a black and white printer for my occasional printing needs. I hired my own tech, who comes to my house, to bring in the very heavy printer and install it for me. Thus far, it has performed well.
