Got this for a Rocktron MIDI Mate that I bought second hand. Didn't realize the unit needed a 9V AC (Not DC) adapter. So, keep in mind this adapter outputs AC voltage, not DC. All power adapters accept AC on the input side because that's what's coming from the wall outlet, but the big difference is that this thing OUTPUTS AC voltage as well. Don't plug this thing into a pedal that requires DC voltage or you'll have a bad time. One other tidbit of info is that AC voltage has no polarity, so you don't need to worry about center-negative vs. center-positive in this case.This thing is heavy, and feels pretty sturdy. I also like that the big wart doesn't hang on the wall.

Product works perfect for the Banshee Amplified Talkbox (first release version; search Amazon for "ASIN B0002GFU2A") Super happy to have this talkbox up and running again... cord is a good length but note there is a power brick just like the original power supply. The shipping stated it would take about a week or so...but arrived WAY AHEAD of time which was a great surprise.

Fits all my / the old Rocktron units it advertises. Way better build quality than the original adapter. Should you need one, stay away from the cheap-o $9.99 units and spring for this.
