This is a nice set of H shaped shackles with the ability to be used as a shackle or a winch hook. The pins are 2 different sizes with a 14mm for the winch hook side and a 22 mm for the attachment side. The 22mm side is pretty much the standard shackle mounting eye, and these fit my bumper and look great in place of old style d rings. I like that I can use these in multiple ways, as a hook it gives me peace of mind with a closed end attachment, and as a shackle it works very well for bridles or bridging in winch rope extensions, most of which use the 14 mm eyelet letting you easily add on length or use it to attach to the vehicle your pulling. Durable finish that holds up well, after being thru the rocks and mud, used with chains, and more it looks like new.

These are heavy in your hand. The H pattern shackle is a very thick and robust steel. The pins on each end are also thick and stout steel. The smaller pin fits nicely onto my winch cable and the end shackles right to my recovery strap. The finish is well done the paint looks pretty good, even though it won’t stay looking that good after trail use or bouncing around in your tool box. If you do decide to mount them on your bumper or something, they will probably stay looking pretty decent with the exception of rub points. They sheer weight of these gives me some confidence that they will hold their advertised load claims. They are more expensive than regular D rings, but look a lot nicer if you mount them on your rig. Overall, great quality, beefy shackles that I expect to last a rally long time. The price I think is high, but reflects that quality and sheer strength of the product you receive.

Beautifully made. Very robust and heavy duty. Has a nice powder coat finish on it as well. I can't imagine it failing anytime soon and I'm glad it has a permanent home because I wouldn't want to have it in my tool box with my straps. Like I said, it's Heavy.

I am reviewing AMBULL Heavy Duty H-Shaped Towing Winch Shackle, Winch Fairlead Hook, Dual Pin Design (0.875” & 0.55”) Shackle Winch Hook for Towing, Recovery, Off-Road, 17,636 lbs Working Load-2 Pack, Blue.This unique design allows for versatility in using it as your cable end or as a shackle either at the pull point or in a 2 part or more. They are hefty coming in at 6.5lbs each. However, that is in part due to the high working load limit and break strength.A couple notes on when I installed mine on my winch line. The retaining clips for the pins are very stiff and hard to remove/reinstall, unless you flip them 90 degrees and come off the end.Second the idea of it being retracted and staying neatly against the fairlead is great and probably works great with a steel cable. Synthetic however has a tendency to relax a bit after a while and temp changes etc so I have had to pull the winch snug a couple times to maintain it tight.

I ordered these AMBULL H-Shaped Towing Winch Shackle (2 Pack, Red) and my first impressions were, these things are absolute little tanks!The dual pin design is a smart touch, it lets you use them both as a traditional 3/4" shackle and a 3/8" winch hook, which makes them super versatile for all kinds of recovery and towing setups. Whether you're pulling someone out of a ditch or need a solid tow point, these shackles should handle it like a pro.I have them in my trailer tow/winch tool box and have not needed to use them yet but I am confident if (when) that day comes they will perform as well as they look. The 17,636 lbs working load gives me total confidence. The red powder coating isn’t just for looks, it’s to protect from the elements and still look sharp after years of use. I have to deal with the salt air here in Hawaii, so I totally appreciate the powder coating.What I really like is how easy they are to install and remove, no fussing around (I did a dry run just to see how they fit and work with my winch). Plus, you’re getting two in the pack, so it's a great value.So, if you're into off-roading (not me), towing (that’s me), or just want a reliable recovery option in your trailer toolbox or truck, these shackles are a solid investment. Would definitely recommend!

Very heavy duty, smooth finish on pins makes the pins and clips slide great, these are solid steel, makes for a very clean look instead of a hanging winch hook

These were ordered for to use with a winch on a trailer. This is a seriously heavy duty tow hook. Excellent quality. These H-shaped winch shackles help replace the standard hook with something stronger and easier to connect. The dual-pin design works with both 3/4" shackles and 3/8" winch hooks.
