What a great gift for kids. I gave this to my nephew and he has been loving it. The introduction to science through these toys are great. Good built quality and worked right out of the box.

This is a super cool microscope! It does have a learning curve and has taken us a little bit of time to get familiar with the features and how to use them. But now that we have become used to it, our family has been using it non-stop.I got it to use as part of our homeschool science classes. So far we have looked at the slides that came with it, onion skin, grass, pinecone needles, flower petals (we could actually see the pollen as well), insect parts. Our kids favorite thus far was a little bit of water from the pond in our yard. We could actually see live stuff swimming in the water. Kinda gross, but cool as well. The magnification is really top notch. We were able to use the phone mount, though again, it takes a little adjusting. That is a really cool feature because it allows all of us to look at the same time instead of having to take turns, plus, it's easier to see, and you can take pictures or videos. Super fun!The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because, though it comes with some cool experiments, it doesn't really have a great user guide. I had to look back at the product page to learn how to use the phone mount and find out what a few items were. I feel like that should come with the product. But otherwise, I am very happy with the quality!

My kids are having a lot of fun trying different things under this microscope. I was afraid it would be too delicate to be used by kids, but I'm surprised how sturdy it is. Having a phone adapter is certainly a plus.

Easy to use. Enough power to observe cells or simple things for curious minds. Various pre made specimen. Kids to looking forward to make their own specimen. My 8 year old has no issue using it. 6 years old still need assistance

Super dope but I wish this also had better instructions on its use. It took me way to long to figure out why they would have a light thats directly being blocked by one of the lenses just for me to find out its a 3 part light switch flip all the way up for bottom light, switch flip all the way bottom for closer/blocked/ less direct light source. I also was not a fan of the short charging cable. If anyone finds out what the spring is for that comes in the iphone lense adaptor please let me know. Other then these factors the microscope itself is super awaesome and relatively easy to operate to navigate the moving and focusing of whatever you are looking at.
