If you have the budget for an optical PTZ, that's still the way to go, otherwise this e-PTZ gets the job done reasonably well for less than half the cost of optics. The remote controller setup is not intuitive. The manual must be downloaded from the website. Finding the manual in their website was confusing for me. The camera works as advertised. If there's something better at this price point, I haven't found it.

Nice camera with decent image. But audio from the camera does not travel down the HDMI cable. It travels down the USB cable - which is pretty worthless.

OK so yes, this is a web cam but it is a 4K web cam. After playing with settings and making sure that the drivers are up to date , I've had several artifacts that keep popping up. I've noticed this during testing. I'm hoping that my customers won't notice them. what works well is the ETPZ function. If you are short on cash but want a quality stream buy the logitech brio or avermedia pw513. A better choice would be a hero 8 with a capture card.If you really want a quality stream for $100 more get a cheap used DSLR with a cheap usb capture card. This is my first EPTZ cam....I'm kinda disappointed but I'm keeping it because it is the cheapest cam of it's type.Do you need PTZ? If not then skip it and get the brio or the PW513

I like the construction of the Webcam and Set-up. There is a lot of versatility in this CAM. However, if you are used to "Logitech" software and its ease of use you will be disappointed. The WebCam is plug and play it does not have its own installable software. The camera uses a TV Style clicker to change camera settings, the menu is hard to see and difficult to select options. TV Clicker makes it slow to make any manual changes or zoom. When trying to use the zoom, it gets very grainy. I give it a 3 star, because it could be good in a small huddle room, but not so good in a medium to large size auditorium. I tested with OBS but was disappointed in ease of use, and zoom image quality.

.The HuddleCamHD Pro USB / HC-EPTZ-USB is an all-in-one product: Camera, Microphone and ePTZ.- We needed this type of solution for a live classroom environment, while teaching virtually over Zoom.- We have multiple campuses and classrooms worldwide, so we needed this type of economical"all-in-one" solution.- This was our first "test" and evaluation with this type of camera, and was fairly impressed over-all.- Our typical classrooms are 25-ft wide x 35-ft deep.- For our purpose, the camera was ceiling mounted 7-feet off the ground, and 8-feet from thefront whiteboard screen.- It was connected to the Instructors computer, which is in the left-front corner of the classroom, through a 30-foot SIIG USBN 3.0 Active Repeater cable.- Per out testing, the USB version had an approx. 1-second delay, whereas the NDI version had anapprox. 3-second delay.- We teach utilizing the live, real-time financial markets, so it was imperative that we were as close to"real-time" as possible, so we ended up using the USB version.- Overall, this camera does a good job and fit out purpose.- The ePTZ and the pre-sets is an excellent feature for the Instructor to go back-and-forth from thewhiteboard, projector screen and their desk.- The microphone does a very good job when set to Zoom's "medium" noise reduction to minimize theStudents noises and chatter.- We spent a lot of time attempting to get the best visual output as possible. Making it as clear and crispas possible, without blur.- I feel that this is one area, that we still need to work and improve on, and fine-tune.- This HuddleCamHD "all-in-one" camera offers an economical solution that does a fairly good job.- I think you'd be hard-pressed to find something with these capabilities and performance, that doesbetter in this range.- Be patient when setting it up. Small changes within the settings can make a big differences.- As noted, you will need to use a high-end 3.0 USB active repeater cable when going further than 6-feet.- The HuddleCamHD Support Team was great. They were very knowledgeable and helpful..

Really like the ability to zoom in and tilt/pan to frame the image and then be able to save them as 10 presets.

We bought this camera for Sabbath service. We needed to broadcast to the web, but also to a TV for members seated downstairs. We were able to broadcast video downstairs (no audio) while using FreeConferenceCall (audio & video) for web viewers. The 4K clarity is superb.. A great buy!
