As a battery charger from HULKMAN that needs to be connected to an external AC power source, the Sigma 5 strikes an excellent balance between fast charging and maintenance of small vehicle batteries. Its input : 100-240V AC, 50Hz, 85W. The output : 12V DC, 5A; 6V DC, 1.8A. And the back current drain is 2mA. In the 12V MODE, it can charge batteries ranging from 15-120Ah, and in the 6V MODE, it can charge batteries from 6-50Ah. It combines multiple functions such as charging, battery maintainer, trickle charging, and float charging. Through the design of an intelligent chip, it enables automatic adjustment of 9-stage charging, desulfates lead-acid batteries, and maintains lithium batteries (LiFePO4).
Suitable for all kinds of 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries, including flooded, gel, maintenance-free, AGM, SLA, and VRLA batteries, as well as batteries in cars, boats, RVs, power sports equipment, and deep-cycle batteries. It can also charge and maintain 12V lithium batteries (LiFePO4). Notably, the Sigma 5 can charge the Calcium battery.
9-stage charging mode combines slow-pulse repair, trickle charging, and float-charging technologies. Through an AI chip, it can deal with issues such as power loss of the battery caused by using it after turning off the engine, discharge loss due to long-term storage, lack of maintenance caused by long-distance driving for an extended period, and reduced battery capacity due to high or low-temperature environments. It can not only automatically detect sulfation problems in lead-acid batteries but also automatically cut off the power when the battery is fully charged and restart charging by automatically detecting the battery voltage.
Measures 5.5''×3.1''×1.9'' (140×78×48mm), and a wall-mounting bracket is included in the box. You can easily carry it or fix it on any wall. Its 3.2-inch LED display ensures that you can clearly operate the buttons and functions in both strong sunlight and at night. Two types of clips are included: alligator clips and eyelets. You can use them to charge cars, motorcycles, campers, golf carts, dirt bikes, mopeds, ATVs, UTVs, scooters, motorboats, PWCs, generators, classic cars, etc.
With its AI chip and IP67 dust-and water-proof rating, the occurrence of overcharging is minimized. It also reduces the risks of circuit short-circuits, overheating during charging, startup failures, and button malfunctions that may be induced when the charger is stored or used in wet, high-temperature, and unexpected rainy or snowy weather to the lowest level. The Sigma 5 has undergone extreme high-and low-temperature tests before leaving the factory. Its operating temperature ranges from -4°F to + 104° (-20℃ to + 40℃), storage temperature from -40°F to +140°F (- 40℃ to +60℃), and humidity from 5%-95%.

Battery repair mode saved my golf cart batteries. Below zero temps for weeks, thought I killed them. Trickle charger is perfect. Good price Great product. Bought it because my Hulkman jump starter is so good.

The Battery Has A Bad Cell And The Battery Needs To Be Replaced! Battery Tenders Tend Good Batteries, They Don't Hold A Charge! The charger itself is awesome, I have old motorcycles that use 6v lead acid and AGM, and other that are 12v, so it's awesome to find a charger that can do both... That's getting harder to find. Also the desulfation maintenance has definitely brought back some of the older batteries that were starting be sluggish despite getting charged on other chargers.THE BAD: they decided to change the plug to swap the ends from a standard SAE to a custom one.... Which means I can't connect it to some of my vehicles that already have a SAE quick connect to the battery... WTF. I am pretty handy and just cut off the end they sent with the battery terminals, and made an SAE adapter... So an easy fix, but annoying if you already have other SAE connectors.All that said, I'd buy it again but be warned.

Received the Hulkman Sigma 5 today. First impressions - Well Packaged. After you register the charger on the Hulkman website you get an extra year added on the 2 year warranty ! Good Quality housing and cords. Hulkman is using 14 awg wire with good solid insulation. My Ctek 7002 uses 18 awg wire for the load side going to the car battery. The Sigma is all automatic. You don't have to remember the stages of the charging cycles or what each charging cycle means in the charging process.If you have the sigma 5 mounted under the hood and just want to plug in the ac to the charger with the power cord exposed from the front of the vehicle, it remembers what charging program you used before and automatically starts it's charge cycle per it's own algorithms. There is no manual intervention needed after plugging the charger into AC. It's truly a connect and forget charger. My Ctek 7002 has the same capability.My Ctek 7002 is a great charger. The sigma 5 is trailing right behind the Ctek 7002. The Ctek 7002 is$129.99 and 7 amps. The Hulkman is 5 amps and was on sale for $47.00 and now its back up to $69.99 and it comes with a good copper clamps set and an eyelet connector set just like Ctek 7002. The Sigma 5 directions are simple and straight forward. It also came with a wall bracket and screws. Ctek 7002 did not come with a mounting bracketThe Hulkman does not show the actual stages of the charge cycle like the Ctek 7002. The Sigma 5 has an icon of a battery with indicators stating how full the battery is while charging. The Sigma 5 has a large display of the actual Battery voltage which I like. I have not used the recondition cycle yet so I will update this review after I do so. I recommend this charger for the batteries it will accommodate as stated in the description on Amazon.
