I purchased this for my sourdough. Very nice crock - cleans great, looks great and great to use on the counter or in the fridge. So many uses - we love it!

The only thing I would change would be to make the inside smooth and not rippled just to make mixing a bit easier to mix efficiently.

It’s a great size and very well made. I use it to hold my sourdough starter. It is exactly what I wanted. It was well packaged so arrived without any issues. Was a good thing as the outside packaging sustained some damage during shipping, but my crock came through totally unscathed. I highly recommend this product.

Came fast, great quality, has a chip on the lip of the crock so the lid doesn’t fit well.

I was looking for a better way to store my starter and also wanted it to be made is the USA. We had a local pottery place that closed a few years ago so I went looking on Amazon. This crock is perfect allows for about 4-5 cups of starter to be in it at all times allowing for plenty of room for growth and multiple batches of bread a day.

This is a great sourdough starter crock. It is nice and sturdy pottery with a breathable lid for the sourdough. It is a good size, roomy for the sourdough to expand. The sourdough keeps well in this. It holds about a quart.

I have been using a sour dough start off and on for 3yrs and have been looking for a jar that I could easily dump my flour into and not spill on the counter. This crock is perfect! It’s well made, straight edges, and wide enough to easily fit my 1c. into.I can easily scoop out the discard (rather than dumping). After feeding and mixing I wipe the upper portion with a damp paper towel to keep the crock clean.Right away my start was happy here. I feel the thick walls provide more insulation and it stays at peak bubbly fermentation longer than in my glass mason or weck jars.I am so happy!!

Disappointed. The pot arrived with a chip on the rim which has subsequently been glazed. I’m surprised that I’m expected to cover the shipping costs (I gather up to $20 will be refunded) when the fault lies with the manufacturer.
