Really liked this jar. The wood lid is something you don’t see in other starter kits and it is great for storing the starter after you get it going. It is well packaged but mine came with a crack in the jar.

It is a sourdough starter kit and didn't even come with any directions on how to make a starter. It was much smaller than I expected and not sure it is large enough to even make enough starter for a bread recipe.

I use this jar almost every day or at least every other day. I use this one if I'm making just one loaf of sourdough bread no more than 2. It's just the right size, easy to read jar comes with everything shown, I personally don't use the temp strips because I know the temp of my kitchen, and I go by the look of the starter. And it fits nicely in my refrigerator door. Great buy for me!!
