These are so much better than the ones that came with the humidifier. They felt like woven paper and fell apart quite fast but these are very sturdy.

Sorry, but these simply don't work well. The area I live in has relatively soft water. I had two humidifiers going full blast with these filters, used Biostat and flipped the filters once or twice a day... and they barely kept up with the needs of a small apartment front room. They store calcium quickly, making them inefficient. They wear out totally within a month and start falling apart if they're cleaned. You are going to be paying $21.50 every month you need these. They simply don't last, nor do they do a good job of improving humidity. Before winter comes I will be shopping a whole different humidifier system with better and less-expensive filters.
