This is a great steamer. I took it with me on my recent trip. It didn’t take up much space in my suitcase and is fairly lightweight. It heats up very quickly and did an excellent job at removing the wrinkles my clothes got from being packed in my luggage. I used it like an iron for some of my shirts and as a steamer on others. It did stay hot for quite awhile after unplugging- which could be an issue if you are packing up to leave immediately after use. I feel like this steamer is a good enough size for everyday use and not just travel. My biggest criticism- and it’s one I have for every iron out there on the market is the color of plastic used for the water reservoir. The plastic - while transparent, is still very dark which makes it difficult to see how much water is in it. It also makes it hard to see if any mold has developed inside. I don’t understand why they don’t use clear.

I have owned and used a few different steamers in the past. I had a nice name brand one a few years ago that I paid a lot of money for and it worked really well. I was sad when it broke and have been on the hunt for a decent replacement for a few years now without much success. This handheld Humse Clothes Steamer & Iron 2-in-1, heats up in 20 seconds and has a 230ml (just under 8 oz) tank, and a 180° rotatable handle. It also includes an ironing mitt which is a bit hard to use properly, and a small pointed pitcher to help pour the water into the tank, which is actaully really useful. My biggest complaint about this steamer is the amount of water it spurts out onto whatever item you are steaming. I understand that sometimes you will have drops of water that will occasionally get onto your clothes while you are steaming the wrinkles out, but this thing full-on just spits full drops of water at your clothes, leaving them soaked. Then if you need to wear them right away, you have to wait for the water to dry out! It's also really loud, all the time. It sounds like a distant helicopter trying to land. I can understand when steamers get louder to indicate that the water level is getting too low, but this thing is just noisy the entire time for no reason. The edge of the iron/steamer comes to a point which I found leaving marks on my clothing. I find this point is unneccessary for steaming but could maybe be nice when ironing to get into a tight corner. My other complaint, and I've had this with many other steamers, is how short the cord is. I'm sorry but when you are trying to steam a long dress or jumpsuit and you have to plug it in somewhere and then find an area close to an outlet to plug it into, you need a LONG cord. Six feet just won't cut it. Six feet barely reaches from the outlet to the top of the garment, and that's if you are directly next to the outlet! At home you can maybe use an extension cord, but if you are traveling you probably wont have one with you!Steamers need to have AT MINIMUM a 10 foot cord and I don't know why manufacturers don't realize this. It is SO frustrating!!

The before and after photos speak for themselves. About 30 seconds apart. I wish I had gotten one of these years ago. This is my first time using one of these and for full disclosure I had no idea what I was doing but it works really well.As it is my first time it was a bit of trial and error. The hole on the bottom to fill it up is pretty small. Its took mw a bit to figure out that I takes a little bitt to heat up (maybe 2 minutes at most) then I push the bottom for levels 1, 2 or 3 of steam. Of course it is a plug in the wall appliance so if you’re thinking that you can use anywhere, no you can’t. you have to be able to plug it in The head rotate it takes a little bit of pressure to get it to move, but it rotates so you can use it in almost any orientation. It’s really light and felt nicely in my hand. There are three levels of steam power. It took about a minute to about three minutes to heat up before I could use it. It has a silicone top thing on the face plate, but I don’t know if I’m supposed to use it or not. Eventually I took it off. I think it is for storage only. then in worked well and early one handed.I fully admit that I did not know what I was doing, but it worked really really well. The water did not last that long because the reservoir isn’t that big but that may be a good thing because it means it’s light. More than enough for a multiple shirt. While doing it there was kind of this like wet clothes smell so I may try putting a little bit of essential oils in it to see if it makes it better. But I’m guessing they don’t recommend that so if you’re looking for a lightweight clothes steamer that’s fast and that’s a job. I can easily recommend this. removed wrinkles quickly and didn't harm fabric. easy too use once I figured it out (and I didn't burn myself) so much safer than an iron.

I wanted this for its steaming capability and it did not disappoint. It heats up fast. It took me a few minutes to figure out that the power button switches steam modes. But once you activate steam, it really works fast and pumps it out. The silicone cover allows you to steam without making direct contact with the fabric. The water tank is small but it lasts for quite a while- about 10 minutes- on low steam setting. I was bothered that the fill port is on the bottom and was afraid of the potential for a leak. But putting the cap firmly in place prevents leaks. The disconnect for the tank is something to be aware of; if you run your hand across it you could drop the tank, as I did. Twice. But it didn't break and once I figured out what I was doing to disconnect the tank, it was not a problem.Bottom line, I steamed drapes, slacks, shirts and sport coats with this steamer, and it did great.
