The screws that come with them are very poor quality. They lose their shape and the heads break leaving screws in wood. Created a headache and now i cant even remove the screws.

Used them for the corners of my deck supports and the brackets looked good but the screws were too short and kept breaking in half. Had to go to Lowe’s and bought heavier duty screws.

These hurricane ties are thick and I actually think they are better made than the strong-tie brand. They have a durable coating but don't use the hardware screws as they are horrible. Use 10D galvanized connector nails or better yet the connector screws made by strong-tie brand. I would definitely trust these for residential remodeling or new builds.
