I love the d.a. But the one thing I dislike about it is the build in air regulator knob. I frequently bump into it. It can easily be fixed by cutting the switch off and turning it with the wheel instead. ^zoom in on pictures and you’ll see what I mean

This is my second Hutchins D A sander in 25 years there an awesome machine and I swear by Hutchins. As it turns out my old sander is fine just needed a bearing. Oh well now I have a spare it will probably outlast me.

Very smooth and haven’t had any issues yet. I use it for knocking off the tops of bondo and for final sanding on clear coat and it works perfect. Highly recommend and these things will last you a lifetime!

This thing is a workhorse. I've been using it everyday for the past month and it doesn't disappoint. The construction is top notch and plus it's USA made! I'm so glad I didn't skimp and buy a cheapy.. I would recommend this DA to anyone who's in the market for one. The handle, purchased separately(Hut4500) is a nice addition to the DA also.

For the last week I've been sanding a lot of body parts on a 52 truck, I have a few Da sanders, my buddy brought his Hutchins 4500 with him to give me a hand.I started to use his Hutchin Da it was like night and day, its a real tool, he left me with my Da's no way I have to have one. so I placed my order with Amazonthere $50 less than other places I've looked
