it wasn't quite what I was hoping for.The power cable that is included is over 6 feet long, so it should be long enough for most users, HOWEVER it is a standard USB type end and there is no 12V power port(cigarette lighter) type of adapter. So if your car doesn't have the built in USB power outlet you will need one of those adapters.When I was installing the mounting base I was really struggling to get the large nut to tighten up. Finally I just stopped and took the mounting base apart and found a big glob of excess plastic in the threads on the nut. I took a hobby razor knife to the parts and cleaned up the threads and reassembled the mounting base. That plastic nut REALLY wants to cross-thread as it is installed so be careful.Once I was done I installed the suction cup to the windshied aand set the GPS device up. All the time and location settings need to be changed.3 days later the suction cup let go from the windshield...now it seems to fall off every ther day.The GPS oes work and it is as accurate as my cell phone while driving. The display is clear.I just wish the base was better and it included a 12V adapter of some sort.I hope my review and pictures were HeLpFuL to You !!

I found this GPS display to be really nice. It is definitely plug and play. When I connected it to my car, it took a couple of minutes for the satellites to kick in. Since I have gps in my car, I was able to compare the numbers against it. I found that the speed pretty much matched the speed of my odometer. In addition, the compass directions were also accurate. The time popped into the display as well and the time was accurate and I did not need to set it. I really like that the display is large enough to see the digits and the GPS device does not get in the way of my view. Overall, I am pleased with this GPS device and it functions as expected.
