Works well. With windshield sheet ghosting disappears and display brightens. MPH never varies more than 1 from truck speedo. Voltage display option is good since my truck does not have one. Only complaint is that the temperature gauge does not switch from C to F. But that's not hard to figure as at operating temperatures F is roughly C + 100. Menuing system is not efficient, but very usable once accepting that the single control is essentially a 3 button mouse that does not move. Don't lose the instruction sheet. There is no way to tell what the 28 menu items are or acceptable values without it! I got an obdc splitter so I do not have to unplug the HUD to use a scan tool. That also makes the obdc port easier to reach. The windshield sheet is a neat low cost solution. The Pontiac I had with a HUD charged $500 extra for a windshield where the surfaces were exactly parallel to eliminate ghosting.11/25/24 got erratic about coming on, also quits intermittently. Was great while it lasted. I was hoping for more than 4 months lifespan.

It is a great product, very sharp, responsive,and autooff when keys out, auto on when engine started.Just god sakes,the user manual is a piece of.... Sigh, encrypted, sheet. So it comes with a free problem solving game. Once you solve the hint, on the manual, you can unlock a setting. There are 28 settings in the manual, some are quite challenging, eg "oil wear" means "fuel consumption" . I am looking up some walk through on the internet on their native language version of manual. Hopefully will get the game solved soon.Ah, 2007 Kia Sedona 3.8 works.

Good: Cool technology for cheap. Accurate. Easy to install.Bad: The primary reason I selected this model is because it is supposed to display the current gear. It doesn't. It displays numbers but they have nothing to do with the actual current gear (I have a manual transmission). At least I have the option to turn off the inaccurate gear display. Changing the setting is not at all intuitive and requires interpretation of very poor, very small, instructions.Ugly: Without the windshield film, the display has a significant ghost or shadow reflection. The display is difficult to see in bright sunlight, particularly if wearing sunglasses. Installing the windshield film does eliminate ghosting and makes the display much clearer and brighter. Unfortunately, it also clearly shows the unit's frame and unlit LCD segments in bright sunlight making it a little hard to read. The windshield film looks horrible from outside the vehicle, like a big white rectangle stuck in the middle of your windshield.I probably should have ordered one that is smaller, pretty much just the speedometer, and advertises technology which minimizes ghosting even without the windshield film. Oh well. At least this was inexpensive.

I have fighting with this unit for almost 2 weeks and I’m about ready to send it back to Amazon. I like the unit and I’m sure if I could ever get it set up correctly I would keep it.This may be the greatest HUD in the world, however I’ll probably never know.The unit and instructions are so convoluted. They don’t match the hardware supplied.For example, menu item 15 says there are12 types of ECU’s (1-12) with default being 7. The unit offers 0-5.The manual is written in broken English and the printing is so small that it is hard to read and the time-out is so short that by the time you find what you need, you are thrown out of the programming mode and have to start over.The navigation switch is flakey, selecting right, left, and press are misread by the unit and there is no way to back up, you have to cycle through the the options again.In my opinion, this is what needs to be done to make it a 5-star HUD.1. Set the unit so that when in program mode, the characters are NOT mirror image characters. This would allow programming without the windshield.2. Allow the unit to be programmed using a micro-usb cable, not the ODB cable. This would allow programming without the vehicle.3. Set the programming time out to 2 minutes or longer.4. Allow the temperature values to be set to degrees Fahrenheit.5. Allow the fuel economy values to be set to gallons.6. Update the manual to match the software.7. Have the manual written/edited by a native english speaker.8. Use larger type in the manual or provide a web site to download and print the manual.It’s clear a lot of work went into the design of this HUD and it is a shame that it will probably fail as a product because the manufacturer failed to complete the small details to make it a success.These details may seem small. But to the person hanging over the steering wheel reaching over the dash trying to hold the HUD with one hand, operate the program switch with a second hand, while thumbing through the instructions trying to find the correct information with a third hand, before it times-out, these are very important details.

Nice head up display. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is the speed beeping noise that constantly plays when I go over 120km/hr. I’m not sure how to disable this. Works well under bright sunlight as well. Now I focus more on what’s ahead of me than having to look down on the dashboard. Kudos to the maker of this product. I wish I could customize the colours though or choose what to display on the device.

nice product ,easy to see on windshield .you might have to calibrate mph or kph and other functions a bit of pain .go to you tube for vids on hud set up as instructions with unit are not very clear
