Anyone who has had a Shark Rotator for a while knows the hoses eventually get cracks in them. Sadly Shark didn't make just the hose replaceable. You have to buy this whole handle assembly just to fix a hose crack next to the handle that would normally be fixable by removing 6 inches of the hose on that end. Instead shark wants you to throw the whole handle/hose away and buy a new one.This one works great for my NV501, perfect replacement.

Was a quick and easy install, plastic quality was similar to OEM. One thing of note it does not come with the clip that holds the hose to the vacuum's body, and there was no easy way to switch it over, this however doesn't affect the functionality of the product, just a minor annoyance.
