The tolerance is off, pistons went in way too easily so I wasn't surprised when it started to leak mineral oil without any piston pressure. Don't buy.

I’m so surprised how well this piston worked! It’s the exact same shape at the Shimano 105 piston I replaced! Works perfectly 👌🏻

Make sure if your ordering these they specify that they will fit your caliper. 4 piston calipers use two different sizes and neither is the same as a two piston slx caliper. I accidentally bought these for my 4 piston slx caliper and they didn’t fit which is my fault but they seemed to be quality. One gripe is that they don’t come with the small replacement o rings for the bolts holding the caliper together and the hose but it did come with the piston and large o ring for the piston.

These are much tougher than the stock ceramic pistons. I doubt I will be breaking one. Shimano wanted me to buy a whole new caliper, so I’m glad this product exists.

Worked great for my shimano XTR m-985 calipers. Had a cracked piston, no factory spares available. These brought them back to life!
