Piston installation was straight forward for the small piston on my Zee (M640) calipers, but the large piston is way too large to fit, and clearly not intended for M640 calipers.

I ordered two sets for a 4 piston brake. I only received one correct piston. One set was red and not even the correct product. What gives. I can’t test these because I only have 1 of 4 but the one that fits, is snug and seams to be good.

These are not ceramic, which comes in the M820 saint; they are not worth the risk of failing. Who is vetting these sellers?

I have to say, this product looks to be more quality than the pics provided. Its smooth and light, and I wasn't sure it was even metal. I didn't replace seal in the caliper, but after cleaning it out and making sure the ring was coated with mineral oil, it popped right in. I bled the brakes and will trail test it when the weather dries up. As an backup, I bought a MT520 caliper to scavenge for parts if necessary, but I don't think I'll need it, but this is a cheaper option. Its unfortunate the vendor AND Shimano don't have parts available or even respond to my warranty questions. Next time, I'm going through my LBS. Make sure your bleed block covers both pistons and if necessary, jam some paper in there with it to keep the block from moving. Side catching the pistons (especially on the vertical front) can cause cracking. Shimano's 21 hole block for the M820's has wings to prevent pitching and is larger than the economy bleed kits. Caliper reassembly is fool proof as each bolt and o-ring only goes in one place. The banjo rings are harder to find than the internal block rings but if you need them, look for 8.5mm OD with a 1.0mm diameter.

Great product. Used son shimano slx br-m 7120 4 piston. Excellent thus far. Would be cool if the kit came with spare oring seals as this kit does NOT. Luckily mine were un damaged even though the ceramic had broken during shipping or setup
