Not sure on the quality of these. While these seem well built, the first fan I received only worked for 10 seconds and then stopped spinning. It made an awful screeching sound when first turned on and then stopped and won't spin the blades anymore. I can feel the motor humming trying to spin them but something is jamming the motor inside. Hopefully the replacement works ok and is much quieter or I will just buy a different brand of fan.UPDATE: changing from two star to one star! I received the replacement fan and wow the replacement fan does turn on and works, I find the motor to be loud so this is not a quiet fan and the way that they ship this the motor housing is up on top of the fan cage and the weight of the motor housing actually bends the fan housing and smashes it inwards. This then causes the fan motor housing to hit and push on both sides of the fan when it oscillates. Another thing to note is this fan basically will just point up but does not really point down much at all so if you want this to cool you down while sitting on an outdoor couch you have to mount it extremely low like 4 ft up and then it looks stupid and really awkward being so low because you can't point it down. Overall this is just a garbage fan with awful design that provides very little functionality, it's extremely expensive for how poor quality it is and the fact that I had two damaged back to back is terrible so I returned it and bought a different brand fan

I got this for our goat pen to provide a breeze on the hot days. It works very well. I made a bracket to mount it to, and it was easy from there on. It moves a lot of air for the size.
