We purchased this item as a Christmas gift for our daughter. We knew it wouldn’t be delivered before Christmas, but it arrived before the expected delivery date.She couldn’t get the lights to work properly. Amazon wanted us to send the item back for a refund . We wereAble to contact the company and without hesitation sent out replacement lights, let us know there might be a delivery delay, and they came well packaged and everything works. Work great but two of the lights didn't work upon unboxing it. Seedlings grew in less than two weeks. In less four weeks I have a good variety.

Easy to assemble and working beautifully! Two full days setup and we already have seedlings sprouting. Took this up as a hobby with my 12 year old son and it’s really exciting to see such quick growth! The size is perfect for our townhouse too. Lights have a timer and water feed is adjustable. So far definitely worth the money!

If you want beautiful lettuce year round with minimal effort this product is for you. This feeds 3 of us a salad 5 times a week. I have only grown lettuce as I have a large outdoor garden but I will never grow lettuce outside again. Is bigger and grows so fast.

We purchased this as a gift for mom who loves to garden, but outside is becoming more of a challenge with weather, bending over, insects, etc. We LOVE it! It has been exciting for us all to watch the growth progress in the last month since install. Mom has gradually been adding more seeds, and this week we were able to start clipping the butter lettuce to add to salads. We love using fresh herbs in cooking and grilling, and mom even planted some cherry tomatoes that seem to be growing very well. We are now thinking of adding additional units for other veggies that would normally be grown outdoors. The lettuce tastes great and it is a wonderful feeling knowing it is growing in a healthy environment. We are sure to watch the pump, and to keep the water level up, but that has been very easy. If we go out of town for a week, we are not worried!

It sure does grow plants fast. Reasonably easy to set up. Nervous about the longevity of the pump, but so far so good.

2nd UPDATE: Had to wait another 10 days for the longer tubing and the missing connection to the pump. I put it together and it finally works! Sort of! Because the water in the bottom part is very high, as if the plants might drown, while the water in the top is the right level but the gravity drain creates a huge sucking sound so be prepared!1st UPDATE: Seller is promising to remedy the problems of waterlines being too short to reach the pump and the fixture missing from connecting the pump to the water lines. They contacted me immediately after my bad review and have contacted Amazon to issue a refund. If they follow through with what they say, I will edit this again. Please note this is still a very small item, which can’t be fixed.PREVIOUS: OMG i expected sooo much more. For one, it’s about half the size that it looks like - they must have used miniature plants in the photos. I put my glasses on one photo so you can see the size. I was still going to use, since it’s always a pain to ship things back - but I can’t even fit the water line into the pump. The pump they show on the product assembly has a stalk to fit a hose over, the one they sent me does not, and they were even skimpy on their rubber water lines, they are cut too short to reach the pump, and the the drain pipe barely reaches into the water basin. One little bump and it surely come out and ruin your floor. Overall, probably $15 in plastic parts, and probably the same in lights. I’m so sad….:(

Replacement pump is not strong enough waiting for response from company.New pump is on the way great and fast customer service.This is a very nice compact system. My only problem which is a large one. Is that the pump is not strong enough to lift the water to the top tank. I sent a message to the seller and I am awaiting their response.
