Ordered this IAC valve and it was not only missing the gasket, but it also came looking used with dirt/grime on the top of it, plus there are clear old gasket marks at the mating surface, and it smells like coolant.Setup a return/replacement because I am not going to waste my time installing used parts.

Worked great for about a day then it was sporadic. Didn’t come with the correct gasket - had to use the old one. Bought a Honda original part and the idle has settled out perfect.

Worked fine on my Honda Odyssey but one small problem....See how that gasket has three rectangular shapes and on one it has a slight offset? The gasket I got was not correct and did not have that offset which made it not match exactly into the groove that holds it in position. I didn't notice this until I was deep into my tear-down with the intake manifold removed so I used it anyway. Apparently it got squished in there good enough to make a tight seal because it's been working fine now for several months - hopefully I don't get any future issues.I recommend checking the gasket carefully before you start your tear down. If it's the wrong one, contact the seller for a replacement. Also FYI, there's a couple of different approaches to replacing this part (on the Odyssey anyway). One is to remove the throttle body and the other is remove the intake manifold. I opted for the intake manifold method and it went pretty smoothly. Check YouTube if you're not a pro mechanic for some great how-to videos and make sure you have a torque wrench for the reassemble.
