Mine weighs 6 pounds 10 ounces! For a bass, that is feather weight. The neck's Roasted Birdseye Maple is gorgeous and the Satin finish feels fantastic, like raw wood! Medium Stainless Steel are perfect. The active pre-amp (Vari-mid 3-band EQ) dials in so many tones. The tuners (on the bridge) are smooth and it just stays in tune for days. The balance of the bass is excellent. The short scale feels great. Gig Bag is fair, not very good So why 4 stars and not 5 you ask? There are 2 serious issues: First. the Luminescent fret dots are invisible in most settings. Second the Neutrik locking jack is HORRIBLE. Almost impossible to unlock. If not for the fret markers and input jack, A+++ however the Neutrik locking jack is junk and the fret markers blend into the maple fret board.
