The guitar was delivered in good shape. Intonation was close. Had to adjust the trem and neck but it was minor. I was disappointed that it didn't even come with a gig bag and was hoping for the multi tool but i guess for a case, multi tool and DiMarzio pickups you have to pay $1000 more.

TLDR: It's gorgeous, it's light, I expected more from the pickups, but you CANNOT simply open the box and play it. It absolutely requires a thorough setup, which should have been done in the factory. I don't know if I should blame Ibanez or the seller.---Look, I'm tired of pretending that this is ok. Maybe I should have returned the guitar right away, maybe I shouldn't. I've been wanting a similar Ibanez for several years, ordered online because none of my local shops had one, and now that I got it I'm disappointed.Pros:- It's gorgeous, the dragon eye burst finish is eye-catching- It's incredibly light, super comfortable.- The neck is thin an narrow the way I like it.Meh- The pickups were somewhat disappointing. I have 5 other guitars and this is the only one I can't get a pinch harmonic from. The pickups don't sound necessarily bad, but I have cheaper guitars that sound better.- There's a significant drop in volume in positions 2 and 4, and they also don't sound too good.- Neck pickup is too muffled, bridge pickup is too bright, at least for my taste.- Cable jack is too receded into the guitar body, half of my cables won't plug in properly. Or they will, but then I can't grab the actual plug to pull it off, I need to grab the cable itself. It can be modded, but it's not good out of the box.Cons:- The guitar arrived with horrible, unplayable fret buzz, all strings. I went through the trouble of setting it up thoroughly. It took me a lot of time to set the guitar up and make it playable. It still took me a couple of months to figure out some of the neck buzz. Yes I could have taken it to a pro, but we're talking about a 200 dollar setup for a 900 dollar guitar.- Still on that topic, I don't know if it's an ibanez thing or if the guitar was poorly transported.- The tone knob crackles horribly, and it became worse with time. Could maybe use some re-soldering.- 3 months in, the tone knob became loose. The guitar has been gently used, I only play on evenings and it barely left the house.Bottom line:- This Ibanez requires way more work than any of my other 5 guitars to be reasonably playable. And still then, it sounds... decent. You can buy a cheap Squire or a cheap Yamaha and get a way more polished product.

I bought this guitar without ever hearing it play. right out the box ,it did not hold tuning. the 6th and 5th string would go out of tune as soon as I would tune the 1st and second strings ,seemed like one side was pulling on the other, So I tweaked the spring tension with the nut lock off using a Phillips head screwdriver until everything was balanced and would hold tune .I then re tightened the nut lock and re-tuned using the micro tuners on the bridge . string height was ok for me and the floating bridge was at zero .the guitar now stays in tune even after hard playing for hours.it's a super strat for sure , a whole lot quack in the 4, 3 ,2 position , more low end and gain in the 1 and 5 position.pickup resistance was around the 4.5 area if I remember correctly ,you have to check that yourself though.all in all the guitar grew on me and I enjoy it , on my amp I set the bass to high and roll back the treble when I play this guitar it gives me a warmer strat tone with just the right high end.

I would like to say thanks to the folks at Amazon, and Adorama for a great buying and shipping experience I had. Ordered on 8/20/21, received 8/24/21 from UPS in fine condition. I am an old fan of Ibanez guitars and wanted to buy a modern electric guitar. My last Ibanez purchase was in 1982, so I thought it was time for something new. My new S670QM-DEB is gorgeous, set up well from factory, and has some great features and sound, and much lighter than my 2350 Custom.Thinking about a stratocaster...try this Ibanez out before you shell out for that overpriced Fender.

When I open the electric guitar box it had loose parts floating around, Upon finding the loose parts I was able to installed them in the correct locations. While doing an overall inspection I'd did also discovered that the volume and tone pods make odd noises when the control knobs are turned up or down. I immediately called Geartree to report that I had found faults on the guitar. While speaking to the store representative I held my phone near the control knobs and turned them up and down so he could hear the noise. He agreed that there was definitely an issue with the electric guitar. The representative approved the return of the electric guitar and arranged for the pickup with UPS on 10-10-2019. The guitar was pickup and returned to Geartree a few days later after the scheduled date. I'd received an email from Geartree where they stated quote "could not recreate any problems" and refused to refund my $635.00. So I had to call Amazon costumer service representative (Jay) who was extremely professional and help me solved that problem my refund. I will never do business with someone who doesn't backup their merchandise, and lies about not finding any problems after the store representative acknowledged it and approved the return. Beware of Geartree merchandise on Amazon.com. FYI when returning damaged merchandise make sure to take pictures or video. I didn't , I wish could had done so. Have a beautiful day!

I'm really enjoying this guitar. It's beautiful for starters. The adjustments on the action are pretty decent although I did get some buzzing on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd strings and had to adjust them higher. I'm assuming due to some fret irregularities. It took some effort to set this guitar up but once I got things dialed in and the intonation right it sounds great. Only issue I've really had so far is that one of the hex head screws for the bridge adjustment stripped and I will have to find a replacement. Overall I'm very happy so far.

It's a great looking guitar and it plays well. I primarily play Rocksmith. It turns out that a floating tremolo system is not a great fit for Rocksmith because of the time and difficulty in changing tunings. But that's just me being a noob, I'm not holding that against the guitar and only include it here as a heads up to other Rocksmith players. I keep this tuned to standard E use my Les Paul for all other tuning.Cons: What I will hold against the guitar is the quality of some of the workmanship. Several of the fret bars are not seated correctly on the neck and scrape against my hand when I play. It's bad enough that I suspected it was a fake guitar at first. But other parts of the finish are too pristine for it to be a fake. Now I have to take it to a guitar store (where I probably should have bought it in the first place) and have them fix it.Pros: I have learned the ins and outs of setup because of how tricky it is to setup a floating bridge. The guitar does give me much better access to the higher frets, an issue I had with my Les Paul. Since I got it setup, and broke in, it's stayed in tune without much adjustment. I found an article very useful on how to set it up but the moderators won't let me post it.
