Positive first... I can't hold the seller responsible for any defects in the product. Their shipping and delivery was nothing short of perfect. The products arrived intact and on time. The product itself is beautiful to look at. Small quibble, it was delivered with birds' eye maple, not quilted maple. There is a difference. The electronics are all in perfect working order. Negative now: the neck setup was shoddy. There was a manufacturing flaw at Ibanez - the second fret is not seated properly and both the low C and low B buzz unless the action is set so high as to be unplayable. Sadly, I must return this product to the seller at considerable expense.

I've played guitars for 45 years. I've never had one that the strings tighten up overnight. It's in the same humidity as my other guitars. When I pick them up, they may need a slight adjustment.This one just won't stay in tune.

Love the sound quality. Did expect the receive a gig bag with Ibanez on it but that wasn’t so.

I'm really satisfied with my decision to acquire this bass. It was a major upgrade compared to my Gio 4-string starter bass, and has been a true joy to play. My instrument has some minor cosmetic issues in the vicinity of the jack port, and I never have gotten the setup adjusted to completely correct the hot G string. I'm not giving it five stars, but these issues are pretty trivial to me in the scheme of things.
