Like that it bolts directly to rear hub frame and the rack frame puts load straight downward and not offset which would break. The load rating seems more realistic. Installed on a 15 year Trek bike 26 inch wheel hybrid. The bag has a lot of zipper compartments with a corded adjustable net on top. Hope the latch system holds the weight when loaded.

I really like this combo set. The bag is solid and heavy duty, we'll see how well the zippers hold up over time. The best part is that it is structured so it stays true to the form when empty. The rack is really nice as well. I used it this weekend and its Perfect, no rattles or any issues. Good quality, sturdy and good looking. Easy to install but I did have to do a little improvising. It is designed to fit most bikes but there may be minor issues but they're easy to overcome. I highly recommend!!

So easy to install. Lightweight but sturdy. Easy to take the carrier on and off. I flatten down the zip top and put my little dog in it and secure her harness to the strap hooks. She's safe and loves to ride!

Love this rack. Other than I’d like some more flexibility and tightening options in the front stability bars and a spring thingy like the old school ones for if you forgot the bag and need to attach something it’s a very well made rack. Haven’t tried rough ridding with the bag on yet though. It will have to wait for next year. I didn’t think the ads were clear though for the difference between the 4 and 5 (4 is no disk breaks, 5 is disk breaks). I mistakenly ordered the other one because it was cheaper (no fair) and the shipping times and tracking are terrible so beware if buying within a timeline. Both delayed and took about 3-4 weeks to arrive.

It's a good rack and bag combo. I had to do some modifications to get the rack to mount to my mountain bike with disc brakes. The bag and quick release are a nice feature. However the bag fell off twice while riding making me lose confidence in the quick release mechanism.

The PakRak system is really great for bicycle commuting. I can even see using it for bike camping too. I fit this on a Fuji Absolute hybrid with 700C wheels and V-brakes. Fortunately, my bike has drop outs on both the top of the seat stays and at the bottom, total of 4, to properly mount the carrier. The carrier is rugged, strong, and well made. I used the included washers as shims to keep the mount away from the welds on the bike. The bag itself has lots of storage compartments and the main trunk is spacious. The only thing missing is a clip for keys. I have a place for the bike tools, spare tube, tire levers, mini bike pump, first aid kit, pant leg strps, and bike lights. The way that the clip is designed on the bag keeps the bag from rattling. There are spring loaded clips front and rear that keep the bag steady. I also add a bungee over the top as a safety to keep things extra snug and secure. I tend to ride on alligator cracked roads and over curbs on my 10 mile suburban/urban trek to work and can't risk losing the load. My previous setup was a back pack that got my back all sweaty and began to cut off the circulation in my shoulder. This is a nice upgrade for me. I also like that I can later add the panniers and still use the trunk at the same time. This combo is also a few bucks less than buying the items individually. Carrier is IB-RA4 Touring Carrier Plus+ for non-disk brake bikes. Bag is IB-BA11 Commuter Bag.

Excellent product. Slight rattle when pack is locked into the carrier, nothing too bothersome though.

This is a great commuter bag, and the bag/rack combo is a good value. The bag is well made and very practical in terms of total capacity as well as the various compartments. It is lightweight, has a nice solid base, and a shoulder strap all of which make it convenient to use off the bike. Compared to some other options out there I explored like the Topeak, I felt this bag was better constructed and of a higher quality. (I also think it's more attractive.) The locking mechanism on the bag/rack works very well and the bag is securely fastened to the rack with both a front tongue and a rear clip. It is definitely not going anywhere. I like also that the rack allows the use of side paniers in addition to the trunk bag. Installing the rack is pretty straightforward although I will note a couple of things. First, the rack arrived somewhat wider than expected and I actually had to band the arms in a bit to get it to fit. Perhaps it comes that way to accommodate a wider variety of bikes. Secondly, after mounting the rack is slightly tipped forward. Another reviewer here indicated Ibera could provide longer arms to allow for a more level rack, so I plan to call them and ask for those parts. Otherwise I have nothing but good things to say about this well designed, well made, attractive, highly functional commuter rack/bag.

Got the Ibera IB-RA4 in combination with the Ibera PakRak Bicycle Quick-Release Commuter Trunk Bag. There's a good discount if you get them together. The carrier is good looking and seems sturdy. However, the screws that came with it are soft. The hex hole stripped even before tightening. I'll get some 4mm stainless steel screws at the hardware store. The horizontal arms that attach to the top of the seat stay were too short so it tips the carrier forward on my 2008 Trek 7.7FX. I still give it 5 stars b/c I called up customer service. They will be sending the longer arms. I declined a new set of screws as they would have been the same. The bag is roomy has many compartments and comes on/off easily. There's a handle at one end and a strap that detaches. There are compartments on the sides and rear and one on the outside of the top as well as one inside the top. The gym clothes that fit in my backpack fits in the trunk.
