I got this as a gift for my friend who loves to crochet. It’s beautiful, sturdy, and very well made! It’s not super heavy or clunky and it will fit nicely on a side table to use while crocheting.

The wood is uniformly smooth, and the bowl is great for rolling a skein of bulky (#6) yarn. Highly recommend!

Bought this for a family member who likes to crochet, makes it much easier to place a ball of material in this dish and have us stay in one place rather than watching it roll off the couch and the dogs get it. Well made, looks good, serves its function and cheaper than getting at the local supply store.

Got this in conjunction with a new yarn winder and it fits a 300g cake of yarn perfectly! For reference, this is Bernat Baby Blanket size 6 (super bulky) yarn. In case anyone is wondering, a skein of the same size would hang over the edge of this bowl, so it’s not quite big enough for that (unless you’re okay with it hanging over, in which case go for it!). But if you have a yarn winder or are using smaller skeins that are less than 8 inches long, this will work great! Really nice quality too. Doesn’t seem to catch in the yarn hole - at least not with blanket yarn. I’ve been going back and forth trying to decide which bowl to get for a while now, so I’m glad I went with this one!
