What Makes iConnectAUDIO2+ Unique? - The iConnectivity Difference! Other audio interfaces: Simple analog in and out, maybe MIDI in and out as an afterthought. Support for only one computer. The iConnectAUDIO2+ Difference includes (1) More versatility: iConnectAUDIO2+ adapts to the way you create music. Bring it with you to the stage or club, record with it live, use it in your studio. Leave your power supply at home. It's built like a tank, it sounds great, and it's highly affordable. (2) More power to create: Support for two computer devices gives you more power to create. More creative workflow. Easier collaboration. Who only has one computer these days? iConnectAUDIO2+ harnesses the power of two - at the same time. One plug brings your iPad into your workflow, or maybe another musician's computer. Just use the software patchbay and everyone's talking audio and MIDI. (3) More flexible workflow: Designed for the way you work. Create with MIDI gear. Add your mics, instruments, and synths. Route your MIDI and audio everywhere. Sync everything without cables. It's the iConnectivity flexible workflow.

After my long search , I bought this audio interface. But I found out lots of issues in this device. IConnect has to seriously consider customer issues. You may noticed many of the customers offended by non responsive act . I am here to establish what's my real experience. Basically this device connect iPad and mac book and transmits the audio /midi between inter devices. Now a days iPad instruments are unique and versatile. Everyone wants run home studio. This device fills the space of connection between iPad and mac book ,when midi /audio being transferred. There will be a set of ports (3) which helps in connection. But when try to connect my iPad ,I noticed this device not visible in audio bus , even this device was powered in first usb hub by the mac. The reason latest ios11 this device not compatible and it will not be recognized. Even you ate doing firmware update it will not work. Because icommect not resolved the issue. It will not work on any latest apple device .so please dont buy.

This device is truly remarkable. I have a studio powered by Universal Audio and RME interfaces, high end Yamaha, JBL and Mackie monitors ... and I am truly impressed by the sound quality and versatility of this device. IMPORTANT NOTES: (i) Get the (Correct) PowerSupply!! -- it didn't work with my iPad Pro without it. with it, it sounds amazing. (ii) Make sure you set the bit depth to 24-bit or you'll probably be wondering like I was why it sounds a bit harsh and not as good as expected. Additionally, for reasons that are a bit counter-intuitive, it appears to function better at 88.2khz than it does at 44.1 -- fewer drops and generally better performance (not to mention sound quality). To make a long story short, if you have realistic expectations about what you can expect to get in this price range, especially with the iOS, PC and Mac capabilities, you will not be the least bit disappointed with the sound quality. With that said, areas for improvement include better documentation, enhanced UI capabilities (although the auracle app was great for providing a drop dead simple way to work with it when you don't feel like frying neurons to switch between recording and listening modes) and possibly a firmware update that addresses a few occasional drops. Finally, while the specs claim that it works with Linux, I'll confess I gave up on getting it work with Kali / Debian after about 15 minutes. If ya'll get it working with a Debian box (especially Kali), I'd love to hear about how you did it. *** Update: I got it to work fine with Kali. You just need to follow the instructions for updating the audio drivers for debian you can easily obtain on the net. I also got it working great with iOS, but I'll admit it did take my fiddling with a few buttons, realizing that you have to select the right USB port and turn up the volume because it's off by default. Generally, I'm pretty impressed with what it does. It just needs a lot more documentation....

I use this with logic pro X.I have an old alesis QS7 keyboard from the 80's/90's (don't know exactly) but it has midi out, in, thru so I have a Midi to usb adapter running into the audio4+, along with my mpk5 mini, and a few drum pads (you'll need a usb hub, as this doesn't have that many usb ports). For the XLR/1/4" in's I have 2 1/4" in's and 2 Mic's that sit on cabs or use for vocals etc. Basically, every port that can be used has been used.In terms of logic pro X, it basically just works *with a minor adjustment of audio preferences*. There is a utility you can use as well to change the mapping of ALL THE THINGS and it's very deep. I opened it one time thinking I needed to change something to get my mpk 25 mini to work, figured out it was the usb cable (ya those things do fail, even if they sit still for a billion years).PRO TIP: When using this you can select in audio prefs in logic pro the 'output' some like to use their desktop/laptop output (I have a macbook pro 2012), I like to use the audio 4+ output myself as that knob on the unit is nice to turn around. Also, this will free up your other audio port on your laptop to watch cat videos on youtube (you know you do it too cmon playa).Sturdiness - this thing is a bit beefy and it's got weight to it. My only gripe about it is there is no on/off switch, so I have it on it's own mini power strip with a button. Other than that it's awesome.

Muy completo. Ojalá tuviera instructivo en español y además incluyera el adaptador de corriente. Por lo demás, excelente para multitracks!!

Update (9/9/16) - After some back and forth with support and their sales team, I was able to send the unit back in where they confirmed the USB port was defective and repaired the device. It is back and working as intended.Update (8/19/16) - I opened a support ticket with iConnectivity on 7/29/16 regarding one of the USB ports failing. It took them a week to respond, and after more responses, each of which took a week after my replies stretching to 3 weeks, it was determined I had to send the unit back in for repairs at my cost along with return shipping. Given the time it took for them to respond, I can't imagine the repair would be quick or cheap. I would be better off buying a new unit. This product has promise, but I expect a device that sits in a home studio to last longer than a year and few days. I'll be sticking with my iRig Midi (which has lasted nearly 3 years) and studiomux for my iOS needs. I was considering a Mio10 to replace my MOTU MTP, which still works great after 10 years, but given the poor quality and support, I'm going to pass.I love this interface - why 2 stars then? The iOS configuration app (iConfig) doesn't support configuring this device yet, which seems silly considering this product was announced over a year before it was released and iOS compatibility seems to be the primary selling point. This is compounded by the fact that audio driver is broken on Windows 10 - MIDI appears to work. Because my Windows 7 PC was upgraded, I currently don't have a way to configure the audio interface on my PC or my iPad. No bueno. Granted, levels can be configured from the device itself, but in order to route, iConfig is needed.I used this interface for a couple weeks in between receiving it and my PC being upgraded, and despite not being able to configure it from my iPad, the PC app and driver worked great. Hardware and sound are top notch.I can forgive the Windows 10 driver not working, as it's a brand new OS, but the iOS configuration should have worked out of the gate. Fix the iOS configuration and I will give this 4 stars. Windows 10 driver, and I will give it 5.Update (8/13/15) - after a bit of hassle, I was able to get the interface working in Windows 10 by extracting the setup files with 7Zip and using the driver files without the provided setup.exe.Update (8/30/15) - beta version of iConfig for iOS is working and I'm a happy camper. 5 stars
