I've been using it for more than a year now and it is still working great. I'll be waiting for a proper thunderbolt/usb 4 at 40Gbps speed before my next upgrade.

I had a 22110 1.92TB Gen 4 NVMe that I needed an enclosure for. ICYDOCK isn't cheap, but there are very very few options for 22110 drives. The enclosure has been working without any issues for me, and actually fits 22110 drives, but it does seem a bit wider than necessary, and for travel I do wish it was a bit of a narrower package.

The only thing that is a problem is the M.2 slot vs heatsinks that do not fit. I even bought a M.2 extender for my M.2 with heatsink to try to make it fit but the extender was a bit too wide to fit. This is a design flaw that needs to be corrected badly. In the meantime could ICY make a adapter to fit in the slot that rises to the flush point of the casing? Just a logical thought.

Compact but could use a little more cable length. Does the job well.

I really like this. It's small and easily portable. Plug in your SSD drive or NVME drive and it just works. It USB 3.2, so it's pretty fast depending on what kind of SSD you have. With my NVME drive, it's very fast.(As long as you have a USB 3.2 port on your computer). It works with both Windows 11 and Linux. My only complaint is that it only comes with a USB-c ( mini-USB ) type adapter. Some of my computers still have the full size USB adapters. This isn't a problem if you have a USB-a, to USB-c adapter cable. Seems to be made well, with good materials. Fits in your pocket easily, even with a SSD drive attached. The SATA connector does fit full size 3.5 indrives. But they require too much power for the USB port, so they are not supported.

So I decided to go with this which was the more expensive one in hopes that it'd have a higher chance of working. Turns out that wasn't the case, fiddled with it for an hour after following their instructions and every time I tried to initialize my drive I got "Fatal hardware error". Though the drive might be dead but got the cheaper one after to make sure, turns out this thing was just a pile of crap, drive works fine with the cheaper converter

My Dell laptop died expectantly. I was able to take out the hard drive and read all the files using the ICY dock on my new laptop. I have moved the files over but am still using the old hard drive with the ICY dock as a back-up. Works great.
