I research the others, most that I found used plastic and did not last very long.This on comes with all metal parts. Also comes with 3 sets of screws in 3 different sizes.Works great.

Replace for old broken latch

This was an easy install. The handle works well and is built well. The only negative is the piece that goes on the door frame - that catches the latch - is made of plastic and feels a bit cheap. I ended up using my old metal piece on the door frame as it was sturdier and it looked better. The handle itself is made well and it looks good.

I replaced a fairly new handle and catch that cost more, but kept sticking open due to the plastic push rod. This metal push rod works much better and both the inner grab handle and outer push button feel solid. This handle should lay a long time. The price is excellent!

I am not a handy man. When the handle broke in the storm door in my home, i was looking around to see where to buy and how to fix them. Found the cheapest one from Amazon (comes with full set (in and out). The instructions were so simple, anyone can do it. It took me 15 minutes to remove the old one and put the new one in there. Very happy with the product as well as their small instruction paper.

So, after failing miserably by trying to use the latch for "up to 1 1/4" doors," I was happy to find this one. My door ended up being about 1 3/8" and I could NOT find a latch (locally) that would work. The others all seemed to stop at the 1.25" mark, and even though it sort of worked, it fell apart in just a few uses.The package arrived in a generic white box. Inside were some simplified instructions, 3 different sets of screws (length), and the handle, button, spring, and metal rod, etc.Installation was simple, and took about 5 minutes. Once installed, the thing was SOLID! Looks great and has a nice finish. The unit works as it should, and better than the old one. I would highly recommend!

Cheap replacement door handle, came with 3 different size mounting bolts. Had to go buy shorter bolts, all the ones in kit were too long. Storm door is just like any other door (about 1" thick).
