Intended calming purpose met, amazing how quickly it calmed our anxious GS. Light enough he won't get overheated, yet sturdy enough it won't easily tear. Impressive velcro strength & good fit but if debating between sizes would go up. Quality item for cost & would buy again.

Amazing surgery suit! My pup recently had a lump removed on his back and has a 11 inch incision. He was sent home with a surgery shirt but you had to pull his arms out or the arm holes and pull it over his head it made him very uncomfortable. This covers his incision without me having to pull his arms in strange directions putting strain on his incision to get it off. My dog also is a long hair boy and the only other ones I found with velcro closure were fleece material that would be very hot and not breathable to allow for proper healing. I just ordered two more because there is no fuss getting this one on/off him and it is lightweight and breathable. He will be wearing them for a minimum of three weeks and I feel like the quality will hold up well! He does not like wearing clothes and seems to be very comfortable in it! It’s very functional! I got him an XL as he is a big chested dog and it fits. He weighs 50 lbs and has a 30 in circumference chest. I did order the Large in the second one to see if it will be a little shorter.

With so many thunderstorms this spring-and into summer, I really needed to do something for my dog. She has become terrified of thunderstorms, fireworks-and anything loud. I took a chance on this anxiety vest, she LOVES it! It wraps around her as if she is being hugged. Gives her confidence to go ahead and close her eyes to sleep. No more trembling or staring into space-worried when the next loud crack of thunder will be. After a couple months-we've learned to put it on at the first sign of a storm, even if it's 20 minutes away-so she's ready to relax immediately. She sleeps very well in it. Wish I would've gotten this a couple years ago... I did the next best thing... I bought another one in a different color-so guaranteed-she will never be w/o one! Give it a try-your dog will love you!

My dog has had a bad problem with thunder and fire works ever since I rescued her as a pup. The next day after I got the shirt we had a bad storm and IT WORKS!! We have had 5 storms now and she brings me the shirt and wants it on!!

Like the ease of use. I wish that the Velcro strapping fit better and that it was more padded or weighted.
