This was the 2nd coil I've had to purchase w/ the same result... PO351 code, Don't know why or what's going on but glad I didn't throw the old 1 away...

I bought it thinking failed module might be cause of a no start problem. Nice to be able to get it as a single unit and not mess around breaking apart the original.I bought heat sink paste also because aobe reviews said it wasn't applied but the one i got has it.Worked for trouble shooting but ended up not changing it because it wasn't needed and on my 5.7 it's buried under another bracket and harness I wasn't about to remove in -30 weather.

After three days in’s vehicle now misfires under load at high RPM. Came with no thermal paste as another review noted. Came with stripped screw so that was fun trying to remove to put aforementioned thermal paste in. Amazon states a direct fitment but it is indeed not a direct fitment for the vortec 7.4l Bb.Was able to snag an OEM ignition module off a diner vehicle at a local yard and runs perfect now.Don’t buy this garbage!

the unit was assembled with no thermal paste. I installed it and as soon as the motor got hot it stalled and would not start until it cooled down. I purchased the thermal paste and used it as needed. I will try it and see if that is the problem. This is very careless by the supplier.
