The screw to attach the wire was stripped out on mine too. One half of the two "points" fell off within an hour, good thing I saved the old set that were 5 or so years old.

Totally wrong spark plug for a kohler engine. Way….. to long and extends way too far into the head. Also the condenser terminal doesn’t fit the coil included or the factory coil. The screw for the points electrical connector was stripped out before I even touched it. Overall it looks like a bunch of random Chinese ignition components thrown together and sold on amazon.

Points are of poor quality. They did not close flat and needed to be bent to close properly. Also the plastic used to Insulate the points melted on the point after 30 min of use. The eye terminal on the condenser is too small for the studs on the coil and need to be carefully drilled larger.

Worked as it should. Recommend buying new spark plugs while making repairs

My old Cub Cadet didn't have any spark so I ordered this kit of replacement parts. After these replacements were installed it ran OK for about 3 minutes and then died. Using a multimeter I worked for several hours puzzling over the problem, eventually discovering that the breaker points were faulty. One of the contacts wasn't "contacting" and in fact wasn't securely fitted to the spring arm. These point are junk and I wasted several hours troubleshooting something that shouldn't have been an issue. After reinstalling the old points--they weren't too bad--I am running again.

They worked, but I needed to make them work. As stated in another review, spark plug is slightly longer. It worked in my K231 on my 64 Cub Cadet 100, but I am going to swap it out of concern for long term damage. Condenser terminal had to be cut into a crescent moon and widened to fit coil, the terminal is the wrong size. I made the parts work, but they could have done a minimal bit of research and gotten them right.
