Coils can be tricky. The one I received measured a bit past 10k ohms, which had me wondering if I got a dud. With so few people even bothering to check coil resistance I decided to just bolt it in and see what happens.What do you know, it worked flawlessly. It was a direct-fit replacement, not only by looks, but by function too as the machine fired up as if it was new. One of the ' Compatible with ' model numbers is how I found this.The whole job took only a few minutes and my hands barely got dirty. For under $20 a lawnmower was saved from the scrap pile. These can go out every few years and it's nice to have an extra on hand, especially with numerous machines where the parts are compatible. Just a thought.

My husqvarna push mower is about 3 years I started having issues with it starting and it got to the point it would not start after I had mowed for a few minutes and shutit of to empty the bag. A little research led me to buy this. It arrived faster than promised and only took a few minutes for me to replace and get back to mowing.

Coil works but looks like it’s seen better days. One would think this would not have made it through quality control.
