A friend bought me a Logitech C920X Pro HD webcam. It isn't the model that comes with a lens cover. I cut and folded a piece of cardboard to cover the lens but it kept getting knocked off. I wanted something better looking and more permanent. I found this little cover online. It fit perfectly, does exactly what it says, and it's made well of good materials. I'd give it six stars if I could.

This webcam cover works exactly as described for my device. The quality is decent and matches the price point. It includes clear installation instructions, making it easy to attach securely over the camera. Excellent. It just clips onto the top of the webcam. It looks like it was an OEM part. And it easily folds down or back up. I don't know if any malware has ever seized my webcam - I hope not - but this is peace of mind.

Cover fits perfect on the Logitech HD Pro C920 camera. Snaps on perfectly and the cover securely closes over when not in use. Design is sleek and very minimal. Works like it should!

I bought a similar item that I liked a few weeks ago, was looking for another and saw this with a discount. Figuring "what can go wrong", I bought this and was pleasantly surprised.The packaging is a generic flimsy cardboard box with a printed label - very simple but a step up from a plastic bag.While this won't protect your camera if driven over by a truck, it seems quite sturdy with clear detents holding the cap in the "up" position.The instructions are funny (but luckily you don't really need them). It hasn't been since the 70's that I've seen instructions translated from the original Chinese into Russian by a native Italian speaker, then into Slowak before getting translated back into Chinese, before some guy who once ate at KFC says "I can do this:1. Put our cover focus on the camera2.After focusing, press the cover hardly. if you hear a sound, it means the cover successfully installHere is all you really need to doThe cover has two tabs on the front and a lip on the back. Center the cover over the top of the camera with the back slightly tilted up. Push the back down and the cover snaps into place.This appears to be slightly better quality than the more expensive ones with the actual lens cover being a bit more sturdy - although that is really immaterial as a post-it note over the lens will technically serve the same purpose - this just is a far more elegant solution and doesn't look bad.In fact, it looks more Original Equipment than the cover on the far more expensive Logi Brio or the C920E - both of which look like afterthoughts.I bought two of these and will order two more.

OUTSTANDING!What I expected: a shoddy, loose-fitting 3D-printed item I would have to use double-sided tape or silicone to attach shutter to camera, and tolerate only because hey it's better than shreds of post-it notes.What I got: two nice, professionally-made camera flip-up privacy shutters (I ordered two, because I have two C920 webcams) not entirely like what you would typically put on a riflescope. It was injection molded from multiple pieces, and while the seam on the underside is obvious, I cannot find the opposing seam, so it was obviously manufactured to tight tolerances. It clips positively on to the top of the Logitech C920, so no tape or silicone was required. It clips on positively and solidly, so it remains on the camera regardless of tilt angle. I even picked up the camera and shook it, and the privacy shutter would not fall off.I would like to see this spring-loaded so the shutter is spring firmly against the lens when closed, and held firmly open when open, but I'm just being picky there, and it's far better than shreds of post-it note. ;)
