This is a great value pack of embroidery thread. It has so many variations of colors you are bound to find the shade you need. It’s perfect for making bracelets, embroidery or mini crochet projects. It’s high quality and doesn’t fray easy. I will be buying them again when I need them.

I got back into embroidery recently, and I was so pleased by these threads. They're nice quality, good colors, and include enough of each color to actually finish a project. Love it!

TL;DR at the bottom for those who don’t care about all the details.I think this is a great deal for the amount & variety of embroidery thread/floss you get.As many stitchers know, buying all of the colors you may need for any given project can become quite pricey. I cross stitch and I always prefer these packs of assorted colors to keep on hand for whenever inspiration hits, that way I don’t have to try to get to the store to pick out a bunch of colors, I can just jump right in.You really do get a fantastic variety. I didn’t take them all out to lay them out for a photo because, honestly, winding them all takes a LOT of time and I just don’t have it right now, and I know I won’t be able to get them all back in the bag neatly like they are.It does seem there may be some duplicates of a few pinks and blues, maybe three of each from what I could tell examining them. Otherwise the rest of the hues are different enough to easily point them out.I really appreciate all the included purples!!Purple and orange are two colors that are often severely lacking in bulk thread sets, or omitted entirely. So to see a good variety of purples is awesome!I think orange is still lacking - there’s only two I see as actual orange, but at least there are a couple included; I do wish there were more and maybe less pinks, there’s a lot of pink - but I guess it’s probably one of the more used colors in general since a lot of stitchers do floral projects, particularly in embroidery. They are soft, but they’re not as soft as [name brand], still a little on the rougher side by comparison but they don’t feel *cheap* to me. I have *cheap* thread that feel terrible. These don’t feel terrible, and they’re smooth, not fuzzy.I will note the individual strands seem to be on the thinner side, but it could just be the color I chose to pull out. But I’ve noticed this is a thing with [name brand] too.I don’t expect them to catch and snag, by how they feel, based on experience. It’s also nice they included some bobbins but there’s no where near enough for all of the skeins. You’ll definitely need to buy more if you’re going to wind and organize all of these. They’re paper ones too, so I don’t expect them to hold up long and personally, I don’t intend to use them. You can get a big like 100 pack of plastic bobbins on here for pretty cheap - far cheaper than in the stores. The needles are nice too if you’re just starting out and don’t already have some.All-in-all, TL;DR - this is a marvelous set and price for someone new getting into stitching who wants a variety to choose from,And also a marvelous set for an experienced stitcher who wants to bulk out their stash with many options for a really reasonable price.Good quality and variety!

Hey this is just an essential kit to have at home. Neither my wife nor I are skiled in sewing at all, so we wouldn't naturally buy any of this stuff. So when there's a need for anything sewing related, like fixing things, measuring things, needing pins or whatever - it's all here. And we bought the bright orange kit and shoved it in the 'emergency drawer'. You know the one you have in your home. This kit is great. Would I use this to build or sew a project of importance? Heck no. Is this kit great because it's full of things that us non-sewers don't realize that we'll need when we need them? Yes.

We bought this because it seemed light weight and pretty well stocked to take camping/ hiking with us. It is definitely not recommended to be a fully stocked sewing kit, but to be prepared for that button that pops or seam that rips when you are far from stores, this is a good bargain for the price. I do not suggest this for daily use, but it's perfectly adequate for emergency use.

There is no white or black thread in this kit. Since these are key colours, it would be nice to at least have one of each. The other colours are as important.

It's a basic, cheap little kit so as long as your expectations match that you wont be disappointed. It comes with a lot of tools helpful for beginners or mending on the go, but none of it is spectacular. The scissors are small, I have small hands so it doesn't bother me but my husband cant even get his fingers in them. The thread is cheap, and I wouldn't use it with my sewing machine but for fixing a seam or sewing a button by hand it's fine. The seam ripper is dull after using it just a few times. The pins and clips it comes with are nice but there were only 4 clips. I would have rather had more clips and fewer cheap items that are a waste of time like the seam ripper. The zipper broke after 3 weeks of very light use, so I don't really think it's worth it.

Almost 4 years ago, we packed up our car and moved cross-country for a job opportunity with a few suitcases, our best liquor (priorities, priorities) and two lawn chairs, leaving everything else in our permanent home to which we plan to one day return. I popped a button on that trip and had to pick up a tiny sewing kit at a truck stop since my sewing basket built over a lifetime was back at the house we just left. For the next 4 years, that tiny kit has sewn on a slew of buttons and repaired countless dog toys (which I am too cheap to throw out so they get shredded and sewn on repeat until there is no more original toy to sink a needle into). But I was finally running out of all 6 colors of thread that came with it and was coming up with some funky mending color combos. So I ordered this kit, mostly for the large thread selection. I have to say I am really pleased - it has everything I need in one place! It's about the size of a small book and a great color - easy to find. I did some mending today and only note a couple of issues. There is no pin cushion, so I have to drop the needle back into the needle case when I am done. The thread feels a tiny bit thin but should be fine for most mending. My dog may shred a bit faster though. On some of the spools, the thread end was easy to find, but I gave up and selected a different shade of brown when I couldn't find an end on one spool. I'll look again another day. The needle case has a neat design where you rotate a hole on the side to release a needle. Great for preventing spilled needles all over. Even when I return to my full sewing basket one day, I'll probably use this kit more, since it will be easy to keep handy and faster than pulling out a large basket of sewing supplies. Everyone needs to know how to do some basic mending and sewing repairs and this kit is perfect to get you there.
