I purchased this sewing kit as a Christmas gift to pair with a sewing machine, and it was a hit with my 10 yesr old niece! The kit is comprehensive, including a wide range of thread colors and all the essential tools needed to begin sewing!

This is an excellent product~! ! I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be much smaller, about the size of my hand, and it is much larger. It includes everything you would possibly need in a sewing kit, everything and then some~!! I've shown my friends when they come to visit and they are equally impressed. Thank you VERY much~!!!

Nice zip up case lightweight and easy to transport. This is a good starter sewing kit to keep at home or take on trips if you’re driving; if I were flying somewhere, I would probably take my much smaller kit.The thread is pretty thin, but easy way around that is doubled up and there is tons of each of the colors. It would cost you much more to buy all these in a high-quality thread. Scissors are also cheap. I will probably replace them with a school size pair of pointed Fiskars which will cost me less than two bucks. Thimble is plastic but it’s still going to protect your finger.Really an excellent bargain for everything you get, even with the thin thread & the cheap items. You would spend way more money trying to put all this together buying the items individually, not to mention trying to have some kind of case where it doesn’t get mixed up together.I included some close-up pictures of the supplies and the thread so you can get an idea how thin thread is, and what the items really look like.I’m going to keep this one in my car. I have a fancy sewing box in the house I’ve added to over time so I know what I’m talking about as far as cost. If I need to do repairs in the house & I need a color I can easily get to this and I will also have it with me at work or other places. Seems there’s always some sort of mishap and no one but me has a sewing kit. Now I have a much better color selection!

This is actually a really good kit to get you started, I bought it for my daughters who want to learn to sew this summer. It has almost everything they could possibly need plus some. The only issue I have found is that the little container holding the straight pins was not closed tightly and it popped open during shipping. One fell out in my lap as I opened the case, thankfully I spotted it, if you've ever stepped or sat on,or even been stuck by one of those you know what I'm talking about. The rest of the pins were scattered in the case and were easy to gather up. Setting that one tiny mishap apart I am very pleased with this kit and feel like it will serve my girls well as they use the items and replenish the things as needed. They are both eager to get started now.

Great purchase for the price. I am a newbie with sewing machines, so this seemed more fitted for hand sewing but it has been a great help anyway. Straight pins are a little large, probably best to use with denim or cotton and get smaller pins for more delicate fabrics. Again thread is probably best for hand sewing or small projects as I used a while spo of brown on 1 dress. Again overall great for the price and a lot of helpful items. Would purchase again or recommend to any beginner.
