We're only a handful of days into our current incubation so setup is fresh on my mind. It's a nice compact incubator if you're wanting to incubate a smaller number of eggs (we usually incubate 30-50 eggs, so it is smaller compared to our usual). Setup was pretty straight forward. The issue I've had is that, even after scouring the instructions, I can't find where to change the humidity settings. We typically do a dry hatch and that works great for us, but it beeps constantly if the humidity is less than 40% and there's no way to bump that down to 35%. The screen is also not lit, so that makes trying to read it at an angle tricky. We have our incubator set up in our hatching house (a little greenhouse we repurposed) and it's on the top shelf since we have another going on the other shelf, so seeing the numbers is impossible with the screen not being lit. So far we like this despite those issues, but we'll see how the hatch goes. With it being smaller it is having less of an issue keeping temp and humidity consistent like our larger ones can have if we don't close the greenhouse cover. We got this one to hatch duck and gosling eggs next year but are testing this out with our Easter Egger, Welsummer, and Maran eggs from our own hens before buying waterfowl eggs next year. This will be great for adding smaller amounts of birds to our laying flock, so this will be perfect for that. So far I would recommend this. We have 12 eggs in ours and will come back if the hatch rate is unusually poor. We've always averaged 80%+, usually over 90%, so if it's lower than 80% I'll come back to mention it.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who is just starting to raise chickens, and it looks to be impressive. Lots of needed features such as egg turning and temperature control. It does so much more than some, a little pricey but worth it for the exciting features it has. I cannot imagine hatching chickens without it - how did farmers ever manage to watch over all their live creatures without the modern age! I have no experience with incubators, and my friend is not starting hatching until next year, so my review is woefully incomplete. I can tell you my friend has throughly inspected the Cieex incubator thoroughly and is excited to take advantage of its sophisticated controls!

I use this for quail eggs. I like how it has enough room to have them hatch. Enough space if you haven't checked in a while the chicks will be fine waiting for you. I like hatching my own chicks

A week into incubation this seems to be working well. Holding temperature and humidity consistently. Quality of build doesn’t seem to be the greatest so not sure how many cycles it’ll last, probably more of a risk getting banged around during storage. But for now, it seems to be working well.

The humidity shoots up when adding the second water bottle during lockdown. I don't see a way to control other than to open vent. Also, does the turn table stop automatically at lockdown? So frustrating to not be able to find any information online.

The two egg trays are perfect for different types of eggs, and it’s so easy to set up. The temperature control is spot on, and the automatic egg turning feature gives me peace of mind. It even has an alarm to notify me if the temperature or humidity goes out of range, which is a great touch for ensuring the eggs stay safe. The automatic water replenishment system is a real time saver. One water bottle lasts a week, and you can control humidity with ease using the vents or the extra water bottle. Cleaning is easy with the removable tray and easy-to-unscrew cover.
