Unfortunately this is not sturdy. The stem failed (leak at attach point) after my 3rd short kayaking ride. Not recomended. Too bad because it was comfortable but a stiff fragile valve is not a good idea.

Back of my seat on canoe won't stay in place . Got this to embrace it on the seat, now I got lumbar support too. Didn't want to buy another seat

I just started kayaking a few months ago on our lake, and I absolutely love it. But I'm also a creature of convenience and comfort, and I noticed that I frequently adjusted myself in the seat to try to get into the most comfortable position. I came across this HEYTUR Inflatable Lumbar Support by accident, honestly, and immediately decided to try it! I wish I could give it 10 stars - it's really well-made, EASY to inflate and adjust the level of fill you want (could NOT be easier!!! My 2 year old niece could do it!), and easy to position in your seat. I absolutely LOVE it, and I no longer have to adjust in my seat...I just go with the flow and don't even think about it!! I can't say enough about the quality - strong seams, high-quality materials, and the size and shape are perfect! My husband tried it after I raved about on my very first float with it, and now he also has one!! Overall, great item, excellent value for the price, highly recommend!!!

Our kayak seats, like most, don't provide great back support. This fills the bill. It's super-packable, and blows up to as much support as a person could want--I'll use it about half-filled. It has a smooth plastic surface, and while normally I wouldn't appreciate the lack of a softer fabric covering, in this case you want the waterproof material. It has a screw open and shut valve, making it easy to inflate, and even easier to deflate, so you can overinflate it at first, put it behind you, and then slightly untwist the valve to let it deflate to the perfect size and give. The attachment straps can be looped around my kayak seat straps--it won't be the most secure attachment in the world, but it will work, and it hard to think of an attachment method that would work better, kayak seats don't give you much to work with.

this is a surprisingly nice inflatable pillow, made to add some lumbar support to places that don't normally use it. It has a couple vertical straps, which I'm not sure how they attach to a regular kayak seat.It actually has had more use in my office chair, giving some lumbar support there.

Much to my surprise, the straps attached to the seat of my kayak (a Crescent CK1) like they were made for it - just the right gap apart. This inflatable pad successfully eliminated the pressure hotspot on my lower back that was an issue with the unmodified seat, vastly improving comfort while paddling. It only needs a tiny bit of air for my use - maybe 1/4 full.The only problem I have with it is how the straps are not fixed to a spot on the pad, allowing the pad to slide down lower than I want it even though the straps are nice and tight (and not moving). I pull it up, but it just slides down again every couple minutes. The rubberized backside of the pad helps (otherwise it would be every couple seconds), but it remains a problem. I need to sew the straps in place to the loops on the pad before using it again.
