An integrated velocity stack allows the pressurized air to be at a more stable state, which equates to a consistent transition of air into the MR calibrated tube. Through a step down process, MR Technology will regulate the airflow at certain strategic points, ultimately controlling the rate and density. By doing so, the MR Technology process tunes the intake system to avoid the necessity of calibrating MAF sensors. No complaints on this air flow system. It made my truck sound awesome, and it definitely had a little more pep. Gas mileage did not seem to change one way or another. I'm deducting one star because the wrong size hoses were included with my kit, even though this kit was specifically for my truck. So, in the middle of the install, I had to have a friend drive me to an auto parts store. Other than that, easy installation.
