These brake lines are a better than OEM replacement. But the process of removing the old lines and installing these new ones is doable, but not an easy process. A professional, using a lift can do this in six hours. If you havent done this before, plan on 20 hours DIY at home laying on the floor of your garage.Few things to note...1. You do not need to lift the body or any other major disassembly to get the old lines out and new ones in the original routing.2. You will want to go ahead and replace all the flexible brake hoses to the calipers and to the rear axle. I upgraded to stainless steel lines.3. You will need to cut the old lines off from the ABS control module (ebmc) and remove the module to prepare for the new lines.4. Attaching the new lines to the ebmc is VERY difficult. I cross threaded the last fitting and had to replace the ebmc for $500. Be careful and ready to exhaust yourself doing this.5. My conclusion is that you do need a scan tool with full GM body control capability to perform the bleed processes. I tried to bleed the system manually and worked at for hours. The scan tool ran the process in about 10 minutes which firmed up the pedal correctly.

Needed brake lines for my hummer, package came in a timely matter. Was well packaged and all parts fit as they should. Would have been a lot easier if it was a frame off restoration but still got it done.
