I bought this to replace my 12 yr old mattress of the same exact brand and model. This one seems to be 2" deeper than the old one, also, the batting isn't looped to the corner like the old one, seems like it free floats. The two tabs on the cap snapped off first pull so had to use old mattresses cap. But i do sleep much better. My old one, the batting deteriorated and just wasn't comfortable any more.

There is no return on this product! We tried to ask for a return label because we just decided to do away with our waterbed and get a foam mattress it was refused even though it was unopened still in the box. So we went ahead and put it in. Set up was easy there is a liner inside mattress feels like a some sort of batting used for a mattress cover I suppose to help with the wave but it's still a full wave mattress but of good quality. Overall comfort and sleep is 3 out of 5 i feel every movement from my husband and dog. Also it took about 1 week to get after ordered.

I owned this mattress for three years and while the product is great, nice and thick... BEWARE when you try to drain it or any mattress with stuff inside to baffle the wave (which this did NOTHING to subdue the wave motion)!!! ~~ The quilted material inside weighs about 75 lbs. and even tho you've completely drained it the quilting is still soaking wet. I had to have help to dump this into a storage bin because it is a BLOB otherwise - THEN when I tried to set-up the mattress again after my move the ball of wet quilt just stays in the middle (see pic), no way to flatten it and evenly disperse the quilting throughout the bed!!! UGH! I threw it away and ordered a full wave - which is what I had for 30 years~ easy to drain, move and refill because it collapses into a flat perfect square.

I wouldn't call this mattress gentle wave - maybe for a couple of medium size squirrels, but not adults. It's pretty disruptive if one person has to get up during the night. Also, even after leaving it out for a week to air out there is still a smell emanating from this mattress.We ordered a new mattress to replace this already - hopefully some restful nights sleep are on the way without a lingering smell.

We took a long time to order a new mattress. We have slept on it for 2 nights and it is so much better then our old one. It isn't 100% waveless but it is probably 90%. It takes no time at all to stop motion when either of us move unlike our old mattress that about flipped you out onto the floor. I definitely recommend this model.
