We ordered these for a four year old who had been complaining of hand pain after long bike rides. These seem to do the trick. They are easy for him to put on (with some minor assistance) , and he no longer complains about hand pain. I wish there was a way to make them cooler though- his hands are always super sweaty when taking them off. Maybe if the back could be a mesh, keeping the padding on the palm, that would help. Not an issue in colder climates probably.
