I've always wanted one of those preserved insects. I thought that this included one butterfly that you got to pin and place yourself. It does not. This kit seems fine to me, but it's essentially worthless to me now. I gave it 5 stars because it would be useful in an educational setting that already has insects.

This pin mess in the box would take forever to put back in their individual boxes. Since 2 different types of pins are involved I'm not even going to tackle it. I just need to find a container big enough to put them all in, as is. The other problem I had was on the top of pictures the paragraph with the description, the second to last individual item has a comma after it then "insect 8*5" I figured that was just averaged size because some moths and butterfly can be big. Almost all the pictures of the kit shows butterfly in it. Where are the butterflies or moths? I used to get kits like this back when I was about 10 years old and they all came with one butterfly or moth in it. I'm not in a position to run and catch them as I'm In a wheelchair and thought it would be fun to mount one.
