We've just purchased am Instant Pot and ordered these accessories. The floppy lid and trivet work well and we're constantly using them. The grips have not been used.

I purchased this as a holiday gift for a friend who is absolutely in love with her Instant Pot and had been wanting this set. Immediately after she received it, she had to take them out of their wrapping to look at them, so I got a good look at how well these were made.These are really made of good quality materials and just by looking at them I could tell that they would put up with a lot of use and be easy to clean. This ended up being the case, as my friend has used them since then and only has nice things to say about them (I'd asked her to be honest, since I was interested in them myself, since I also have an Instant Pot). She has gotten a lot of use out of them and she had to have been most happy with the gloves, since they made it easier to lift the metal pot out of the cooker, especially in cases where she may have to dip the gloves into the food a little to get it out - these gloves clean pretty easily so she wasn't worried.

What I enjoy the most out of this kit are the silicone hand mitts. These are definitely useful! Having 3 Instant Pots, I never thought there was a better option than simply using a tea towel to remove the hot inner steel pot from the Instant Pot. When I saw this kit I knew I had to get it. I had so much trouble using a tea towel or hot pads that I would be left frustrated and the food damaged. Now I use these mitts to hold the pot while I am scraping food out the inside or pouring out hot boiling liquid. I never have to worry about pot slippage or burns on my hands. Along with these mitts, this kit includes a silicone trivet. I already have trivets so this wasn't needed. I force myself to set the hot inner pot down onto the trivet instead of on a wooden cutting board since the trivet is there. The design of this trivet is asinine. Little squares do a great job of catching liquids and food inside their little spaces. Cleaning this trivet by hand requires scrubbing which is a pain. Instead I would have preferred a smooth surface so one could simply rinse off a trivet and go. This trivet costs me time and requires too much effort. I have not used the suction lid but look forward to finding uses for it. Keeping food warm when transporting dishes would be one use that comes to mind. I am sure there are more uses.

Great set. My husband usually does quite a bit of cooking but this time I couldn't pass up the chance to use this set... Every easy to use. Great results! Easy to clean. I've used more times than I can say as well has my husband and we both love using each item!! The cake pan turned out unbelievable cakes!! I've made pineapple upside down, strawberry, cherry chip and chocolate. You have to use to believe how great these cakes turn out!!!

This is a nice assortment of tools not just for the Instapot, but for the kitchen in general. The mini mits are especially useful, as they block a lot of heat considering the thinness of the material. These work great with the trivet pad, preventing hot bowls and pots from damaging the table. The pot lid I find myself not using much, but it’s nice that it’s included and adds to the high value of the product.The real reason for 3 stars is because I was not aware of some of the difficulties of dealing with silicone. The good is that silicone is easy to clean and light. The bad is that silicone smells very bad out of the box and is prone to soak in the smell from the foods that it is cooked with. Unless you’re prepared to work with silicone, beware!

Como se ve en la imagen este set consta de unos mini guantes, un tapete y una tapadera, todo de silicona en color gris oscuro.Las manoplas sirven para sacar la cubeta de la olla Instant Pot sin quemarnos las manos, como es evidente, no he dicho nada nuevo. Lo más seguro es que tengas ya guantes en la cocina pero nunca vienen mal y he de reconocer que son prácticos y rápidos de usar.El tapete o salvamanteles, que puede que ya lo tengas también, va muy bien para colocarlo entre la encimera y la cubeta caliente, y así no dañar el material de la encimera. También he descubierto que es muy útil para cuando estás preparando algo en la cubeta o cualquier otro bol (por ejemplo, masa para pan o bizcocho), aunque la cubeta no esté caliente, si la pones encima del tapete no se mueve y estabiliza mucho facilitando poder amasar o batir la mezcla. Es de tamaño ajustado con lo que no ocupa mucho, y al ser flexible se dobla y se mete en cualquier parte, así que es fácil poder tenerlo a mano.La tapadera es lo único que puede que no tengas ya en la cocina, y que es bastante útil también, aunque valdría cualquier tapadera de olla universal, la ventaja que tiene esta es que hace como de chupón, que no el vacío, de modo que ni sale ni entra aire, con lo que si piensas conservar alguna preparación dentro de la cubeta hace que dure más tiempo. Yo no la uso para cocinar, para eso o uso la que tiene o si voy a hacer alguna preparación que no admite cerrarla uso alguna universal de acero inoxidable que tengo en la cocina, pero ésta sirve por ejemplo para tapar el yogur recién hecho, si te gusta hacerlo en la Instant Pot, para tapar un potaje o un guiso, permite que no se vaya el vapor y cuando se enfríe a la nevera directo guardado en la misma cubeta, o si tienes la preparación de algún plato cortada y quieres conservarla antes de hacerla en la misma cubeta, manchas menos y se conserva muy bien.También para masas de pan, o cualquier cosa que se te ocurra, ya que el recipiente de la Instat Pot puedes usarlo como un bol.El diámetro es el de la cubeta de la Instant Pot, con lo que si tienes otro recipiente del mismo tamaño puedes usar la tapa con él, y da la versatilidad de un papel film sin desperdicios ni contaminación, luego se lava fácil y puede ir al lavavajillas.Por el precio hay que reconocer que está muy bien y se le va a sacar bastante partido, es fácil de limpiar y al ser de silicona resiste muy bien las altas temperaturas. These are great. The gloves are perfectly sized to remove the inner pot after cooking without burning your hands or waiting for it to cool. They transfer no heat and are much better than the cloth oven mitts we are all used to using. The lid is perfect to throw on top of the pot if you want to store things like soup or chili in the fridge, it forms and airtight seal and saves you from wasting money on plastic wrap or tin foil, and is much more effective!! The mat is also great to take a hot pot and put it on your table or counter without having to worry about any heat damage. For the price these are must have accessories that will add utility and usefulness to the Instant Pot!

I bought the Silicone Starter set which is currently listed as “12 ounces” on the Amazon listing.Included is a lid, resting pad, and silicone “finger-gloves”.THE LIDThe lid fits both my 6qt and 8qt Instant Pot pots. When put on a hot pot, it clings to it and provides a pretty good seal. Attached are photos of the lid on my 6qt pot (the lid hangs way over the edge of the pot) and my 8qt pot (in that photo, I’m holding it back, revealing pulled chicken). The lid came crumpled up from packing, but it flattened out by the time I was ready to use it. The lid is labelled as BPA free, and has an allowed temperature range of -40°C to +240°C.THE RESTING PADThe resting pad can be set on a counter top so you can put the stainless steel pot on it without damaging the counter. It also reduces tendency to slide while serving. I always used to serve directly out of the instant pot, but do so less now, since there is always food falling into the gap between the pot and the base unit. The pad can also be used as a jar-opening assist, though a solid piece of rubber works better.SILICONE FINGER GLOVESThis style of gloves are the easiest way to handle hot pots – much less messy that using cloth pads or gloves to remove the pot from the Instant Pot.OVERALLThis is a great gift idea for Instant Pot lovers, especially at current pricing (hovering around $10). I bought it for myself since I was already looking to buy finger gloves and a lid for my Instant Pots.

I use the mini mitts and suction lid all the time. The mini lids is the best of the three. It makes it easy to lift the inner pot out, but the thumb cover makes it very useful to pull hot things from the oven too. I use this more often then than my bulky oven mitts whenever I need to move hot baking pans/sheets in and out of the oven. If the pan is super hot, then you need to use a better oven mitt since you will feel the heat as it wasn't really meant for this purpose anyways. The suction lid makes a nice seal to keep your food covered and warm. I don't use the heat resistant pad. I got this in gray since the red color was not available when I bought this. The gray color does show water spots if you don't wipe it dry after cleaning. If I buy this again, I would get the red color since my other red silicone products do not show water spots as easily as the gray.

der Fingerschutz ist bei mir jeden Tag im Einsatz!vor allem Praktisch, wenn man mal in die Soße oder so reinfasst, kann man sie anschließend einfach mit in die Spülmaschine geben.Der Untersetzer wird nicht nur für den IP genutzt sondern steht bei mir momentan auch unter der Teekanne :)Der Deckel verschließt den Pot ganz gut, war bei mir bis her aber noch nicht so oft im Einsatz.Dennoch eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

I materiali sono in silicone, come da descrizione. Le presine fatte in questo modo sono particolarmente utili per maneggiare la IP quando è calda. Il coperchio non sigilla, è un semplice coperchio in silicone, ottimo per uso temporaneo ma non per, ad esempio, il trasporto in auto. Per chi usa la IP o analoghe, trovo questo set molto utile.
