I'm using this for lino printmaking and it's perfect. I keep debating buying an expensive "proper" press but that would really just be for the looks of things. This does a completely professional job.It does requires a little initial wrangling - look for the fb group "Printmaking with Cold Press Laminators" for help - there's quite a few of us out there using these. I ended up getting a handle with spokes made for me as the handle it comes with is quite small, but it's honestly not a deal breaker and I'd got used to using it just with that before I upgraded that part. I've also bolted it to an old table I had as they tend to tip a little, and now it's rock solid.I got masonite cut as a base board, lined that either side with a narrow strip of lino, which helps avoid the print slipping, and then I just cover the lino and paper with another sheet of paper and it works perfectly. As you can see from my photo, I loved this initial smaller one so much that I then bought the bigger 25" one!

Overall this thing gets the job done. Speeds up backing tape application on cut vinyl stickers and signs tremendously. There are alot of quality issues that make this laminator fall short of some other cheaper options out there. First off the thing is assembled kind of wonky so it does not sit flat on a table. It wobbles pretty good out of the box. You could work up some feet to help balance it I guess or disassemble and square everything up. The fold down shelves will not stay up for storage and the triangular braces make this have a wider footprint than it really needs when stored.
