I bought this light to be put into a miniature handmade cabin To be lit up in our backyard. It is perfect, it lights up pretty much all night. It is a perfect purchase!

A nice addition to our gazebo, however the remote doesn't work now, so it's almost impossible to use it.

This works great for my horses stalls. It's not the brightest light in the world. But I have two in an 12x12 stall and it's perfect! The one when I originally got it all set up, didn't work. I was super annoyed because it was a task getting it set up, but it ended up being the light bulb and now they work great!

This product is cheaply made ( to be nice )Bought 2 .. would return 2 if possible.I think you might get better results from a lightning bug.Dim, one direction, short life, and did I mention dim..This is a light would be fine as a little porch nightlight. But don't hang it in your garden shed and think it's gonna light anything more than semi dusk anywhere past the two foot circle directly under it..To be fair, they were only up one night before I took them down..so not positive on battery life..Should last a long time I would think..its certainly not using much power from the lightning..

These are great solar lights. We use them in our barns and coops. We have bought 8 so far. Also having the remotes is great for when we don't want the lights to be on all night, or if we need to be in the barn at night. I highly recommend these.

**Edit**We lived thru Hurricane Ian. We had no power for 11 days. This worked great during that time. The cord is long enough to place the solar panel in the sun and run cord into the house thru a window. I threw the cord over a cabinet door and I had light in my kitchen. Also used outside over the grill so we could see to cook. Battery lasted a good long time. Lightweight. Nice bright light. Easy set up. Keeping in our Hurricane box. Caveat: 2 units in the box. One unit was DOA. But one worked. Did not attempt return due to no internet or cell for almost 2 months. Then past return date.**After Ian I discovered that the issue was with the operator not the product. ((Both units work if you use the remotes))

I have 3 other similar solar lamps that I purchased on Amazon in the past 2 years. They work great and last for hours. I was looking to buy the same ones, but they were not available. I found these and based on their appearance and the remote, believed it was the same product by a different seller.Unfortunately, these are NOT the same lamps. I put one of these up a few days ago, and while I like the ability to choose the light tone (cool through warm tones), that function is useless when it doesn't stay on for more than 2.5 hours. The lamp has been coming on at dusk, around 6pm, and shutting off by 8:30. Meanwhile the lamps I bought from another seller come on at the same time and last for at least 5 hours, even during these shorter days. They all get the same light.Very disappointed. I need a light for my outbuilding so I can see out there at night. The remote needs to be closer than the building is to my house, so I'd have to walk in the dark to get close enough to turn on the light if I wanted to save the battery. No thanks. Also, not sure why review qustions ask about motion detection. This light definitely does not have any motion detector. Now I have to climb back up the extension ladder to unscrew the solar panel, pack it back up, and return it. What a pain.
