It works and one of my three cats plays with it all the time. The other two - not so much. It is well done and I like that the ball is contained and does not get lost under furniture .

The moving ball portion is fine. It plays noise (maybe a bit loud), flashes and moves pretty quickly. The motor sort of startles our cat who is a little more on the skittish side. The play cover functions but there's loose stitching at the velcro and stray thread here and there. It's functional and definitely attracts the interest of our cat. She actually likes being under it or diving under it.

What a nice cat toy! The rolling ball can be used outside of bag. We like to use it inside the bag. Our cat loves it! The ball rolls around inside the bag. It lights up and chirps. By using it inside the bag, it keeps it from going all over the house. Our cat loves to pounce on the bag through the bag. The ball is rechargeable. Has different speeds. Our cat likes the slower speed. The bag or sack is crinkly. Cat loves the crinkly sound and texture of bag or sack. Great price for hours of fun for a fur-baby!

We’re a multi cat household. One cat absolutely FIENDS for this toy! One ignores it and one is afraid of it. I took a video but after six tries of it not uploading I’m going with pics only I guess. This toy came charged and we’ve played with it several times for a couple minutes each time and it’s still going. Can’t speak to how well it recharges since I haven’t had to charge it yet. Goo, the cat who loves this toy, will play with it both inside and outside the rustle bag. I took the pics with the toy out of the bag just so you can see it in action. If I left this toy unattended it would no doubt be mangled fairly quickly but Goo destroys everything so no stars off for that. Like all cats ours have different dispositions and the guy who thinks he’s a wild jungle predator is the one who can’t get enough of this. I only bring it out intermittently so he doesn’t get bored with it. Our Aussie mix goes INSANE when she hears the chirping so separating everyone to allow the cats some fun is an issue for us. I’m sure not everyone’s dog is as wild as ours but something to keep in mind. Goo rates this five stars as does the dog. We’re not asking the rest of the feline horde for their opinions because those cats are boring.

The cats favorite toy by far. The ball lights and squeak's while it rolls. It hits a block and turns itself around. It will get stuck, and slips under the couch when using it loose in the house. The cats also really like the mat itself. They seem to enjoy jumping and chasing the ball when hidden inside. We cute a small hole in the mat to be able to put the ball inside. That seems to work the best.

Edit: I took off another star because it doesn't hold a charge for long at all. I've already had to charge it twice today and the cats only played with it for at most 10 minutes. It dies quickly and doesn't wake up even when my cat stomps on it. I have to get up and shake it for it to wake up, or I have to turn it back on because it's gone off. One of my cats has twice managed to pull of the little fuzzy piece that goes around the ball. I bought 2 of these and I'm returning the one they haven't used. I wouldn't recommend this one.This one wasn't worth it. The cats seem to like the tweeting although it can get a little annoying because it doesn't stop until the ball does. When it's on, they really like to chase it. I thought it would come back on after going to sleep but it doesn't seem to. The other toys like this that I've got wake up every so often. This one seems to just shut down. I've even tried touching it and it doesn't wake up. I guess you just have to turn it back on whenever you want the cats to notice it. It's not as good as the ones that do wake up although my cats like this tweeting better. It sounds more like a bird. Since they're used to being able to touch the other kind and having it start up, they don't bother with this one unless I turn it on. The battery also doesn't seem to last as long as the other kind I have.
