I don’t know if it’s because of the size of the pump compared to the size of the pool but throughout summer time we went through probably 15 filters. Most only last a few days. We were lucky when one would last an entire week. I suppose the plus side is the filters are cheap idk.

We are on well water with high iron. This does a pretty decent job keeping are small above ground pool clean. I do wash off the filter every few days and reuse it. So far we have had it just over 2 months and working great.We did also add in a DIY iron filter when we first filled the pool to help clean up the well water.
