Just like being in the 1980's! They still work great when you need to keep your pant legs tucked in your boots!

I have only used these a few times so I can't speak to durability. They seem a little long, but I could still use. I had to clip them pretty far up on my jeans so they wouldn't slip off due to the length. However, because of this position, the buckles did not dig into my ankles as some previous reviewers had problems with. Overall, these are okay. They did their job and kept my jeans from riding up over my boots.

As the title says, what do you want more than that? Other than the price which I think can be cheaper, it really does its job, holding my unruly jeans in place and wearing my boots become so much easier. They are slightly too long for me, I usually have to clip high or roll my jeans up.

I somehow lost my original JOD clips that I purchased - I ordered these as a replacement thinking they would be the same. I'm a bit over 5'4" and the other pair had a single piece of elastic that was only about 3 1/2 - 4" long (but had a really nice stretch to it) - the clips opened easily and they did a wonderful job of keeping the pants in place. These that I just received - garbage! The elastic is doubled and way too long to hold anything down (unless you hook them to capris). The clips to open - you almost need to pairs of pliers to get a grip. This was one of my most disappointing purchases yet! I don't know where these came from but they ought to send them back to their supplier!

What a fashion life saver!!! I was constantly trying to tuck my pants in my tall boot everytime I would get out of the car or just get up. It drove me crazy. The clips are sturdy & have plastic on the inside to protect knit fabric. I've used them with both denim & knit with no slipping what so ever. One important point with any pant clip no matter the price is be sure to attach the clips towards the front so they don't hurt your ankle or leg. Before I purchased these I read some reviews that felt the should have stepped up & spent a little more money for better clips. There is absolutely to do that. These clips fit the bill for any kind of fabric. In fact I'm going to order a couple more pair just in case I can't find this brand when I want another pair. ;-)

I have been looking for something like this for a long time, to hold my jeans down inside my boots. Finally found these, but when I received them, the clips are SO difficult to open, I have to pry them open with a knife or screwdriver. I am keeping them, hoping they will loosen up some, but really wish I didn't have to wait for a brand-new product to improve with age.

I bought some figure flattering bootcut breeches for training and hacking and quickly found out they would bunch up while I rode! It was so annoying, I decided to get these jod straps. They are just what I wanted - great price AND great quality. I've had them for several months of hard use (plus winter muck and such), and the clips are as strong as they were when I received them! If I could change one thing about them, it would be that they are not adjustable in length, as they are a bit long for use with bootcut breeches... If you have regular breeches, they will be the perfect length. This is not enough to knock a star off though!

I bought these a couple of months ago and use them all the time! I am from Texas but live in Germany and I am constantly wearing boots to keep my southern feet warm. They lay flat against my feet and fit easily inside all of my boots. The only recommendation I have is to clip them close the top of your foot as much as possible instead of directly on the seam of your pants because the metal clip resting on your ankle bones can be uncomfortable. Just move the clip more toward the front of the pant leg and you will be good to go! I like clean lines in my pants and these prevent them riding up and looking lame. I have had no problems with the quality of this product or the delivery process. I recommend this item!
