This set is slightly more expensive than another shaker set I ordered, but now I'm understanding the differences. Both sets work well to shake up my drinks, both are stainless steel, and both are dishwasher safe. However, the IOV set is larger in size. It also has the steel tabs on the strainer that prevent it from falling into the cup. The strainer itself has more openings to allow the liquid through. I'm not sure if this makes a huge difference, but the strainer is easier to use with the tabs.Also, included in this set is a measuring shot jigger, which I think is quite handy in getting my measurements correct. I also think the drink recipe book is a great touch, even though I can find plenty of drink recipes online. But I enjoyed looking at the drink options and it reminded me of drinks I had forgotten about. For example, I haven't had a Tequila Sunrise in about 20 years or more! I'm always opting for a Margarita, but after seeing that recipe, it reminded me that I used to like Tequila Sunrises and I also have never tried a Tequila Sour. The recipe book opened my eyes to other drink options that I might want to try. When ordering a drink at a bar, I never know what to get, so I just play it safe. Now, I think I will experiment a bit more.With that said, you don't have to use this shaker for alcoholic beverages. It will work great for coffee drinks or fruit drinks. I honestly don't drink alcohol very often, except for special occasions. But I love fancy coffee and fruit drinks, and I plan to have a lot of fun with this shaker set.

I ordered this cocktail bar shaker set in black. It looks elegant in my home bar. It comes with 2 different size shakers, & strainer & a jigger. It also includes a nice canvas bag to store them in. And it comes with a cocktail recipe booklet. This is perfect to get your drink on!!!

We were looking specifically for the boston shaker in this set, and it didn't disappoint. The walls are thicker than our other boston shaker, and it seems to flex less than that one. We've put this through the dishwasher so many times already, and it's holding up super well. Overall would recommend.

This is a very nice set, you get exactly what you see here. It's a nice quality too... only draw back is that the material used gets REALLY cold and a little stuck while shaking and it seems like you shouldn't put this in a dishwasher, it would discolor the very first time. But it's not a cheap looking set... I gave it to my sister as a gift and she loves it!

The quality of the shaker is okay for the material and does the job. The gold color is great quality.
